Several other companies have been recently coming out with an 'innovative' forward swept foil (a year and a half behind Cloud IX), but still loving the original design of the Cloud IX FS wings, which has several advantages. You can ride about 200cm2 smaller size foil than other brand high aspects - this gives better turning and recovery, the longer chord near the middle of the wing helps with jumps, giving it more of a solid floor to push off as well as a significantly lower stall speed, and the forward swept tips let the water and any cavitation sweep off easier during wing tip breaches. And one of my biggest things to look for in a foil set up - the bigger M8 Torx hardware gives it a super tight (and non-strip) fit. The KT Drifter F 5'0" 50L has been my go-to prone board for about a year now. I have tried smaller sizes, but I really enjoy the ease of paddling to the outer breaks with the 50L.
