There are countless kits for the FC, both widebody and non. but this one seriously got our attention at SEMA. So we head out to Greddy to investigate.

I bet it runs pretty strong for an FC ... they were always light, Mazda under-reported the power, and with a new turbo ... I'd imagine it's 350+ at the RW, and maybe 2650 without all the back seats, sound insulation, etc. Nice ride ... (but I love the FD).
Sad I got a mint fc shell in my shop but it’s prob never gonna get finished lmao my other car got totaled while I was pushing it so yeah 🎉

FD all day long but now RX3 and RX2 have priority 😬. Just saw the RX3 front end is available for RX8 …. I want one now bc the 8 properly dropped with fitted wheels looks unbelievably good.

While everyone was on lockdown I was driving my Rx7 FC in the empty streets.
And ripping it on the highway such an amazing experience, since there's no track near me for miles and miles.
alex miranda I feel you bro, I live on Maui and the closest circuit track is about 3,000 miles away. I would give a kidney to have a real track to drive on.
I took my freshly rebuilt gsr out and third gear pulled my way thru the freeway too. Absolutely howling thru underpasses.
On the autobahn we say that 100mph+ is enjoying corona.
130+ blasting corona and 170+ is corona mayhem. :D

It's so interesting to see the popularity of tra kyoto these days, I remember having a picture of a white S13 at a gas station with a tra kyoto kit on it as my desktop background something like 15 years ago.

Man, the nose lightbar. It just makes the car. Take it off and it's just another widebody car. Leave it and the car is just amazing. Never thought such a small detail could change a car so much.

This is hands down one of the coolest cars you ever featured on Hooni, and more. In the last few years it seems there is a battle going on for who manages to squeeze the most insane number of horses into their engines, often reaching a 1000 or more, which is insane in a street car, since you're never goin to push it to the limit in the street. This on the other hand, with its magick rotary pushing 350 horses will beg you to fucking floor it and don't get back home till you either run dry or in some kind of trouble.
This car rules on so many levels.

Harry's and ordered three T66 turbos with NOS and a Motec system exhaust!

The front end details, lines and gaps are a throwback to the first generation RX7 and the Triumph TR7 with rally lights
The sound of this fc matched with no bov and the compressor surge perfectly matches the soul of this car.

Awesome bodykit. This would look awesome on the cabrio version of the FC.
As a somewhat mid to high level 3d modeler whos modeled some car mods for sim racing games, KEI MIURA is a kegend in my eyes and makes me want to go to the next level to start designing and rendering bespoke kits for all the great 80s and 90s cars. Maybe one day my work will get noticed by a shop and/or also make the effort to partner up with a company that can make the molds and I can have my designs on peoples cars all over the world. I can already Model cars from the ground up and have made some replica race cars with all different kinds of racing body kits but never really thought about going into business with my own designs. So much motivation now. lets just hope the world can go back to normal after the New World Orders COVID-19 Agenda. I doubt thing will ever be the same thought. The entire world is on lockdown and its whole economy is crashing on purpose. Only the Rich, Powerful, and Useful will rise from the ashes from the plan thats been put in motion

I would have made this build just a little more special with the details because once these cars become rare to find in at least decent condition they’re gonna be sorely missed. Love the car. From the old to the newer models these cars always look great hooked up. The whole video was nicely edited as well.
i have a 87 rx7 fc that is stripped to bear chassis, im going for this build here, trying to find out what they spent in total after final touches. this is the exact build im going for i love it
I have the hardest time with kenji shifting to 1st gear when he's just coming to a stop.. riding that throw out bearing hard!

Honestly if that light setup at the front was one rectangular light bar it would be sick a black fc with that kit and a light bar at night would be cool
Those tail lights are called "series 5" tails in the FC community. The FC got a minor update in '89, so the '86-'88 cars (series 4) have different tail lights, a different front bumper, etc. compared to the '89-'91 cars (series 5).

and where the hell did they get Group b from? I think the title is engineered for clicks. it has fog lights up front. I see the homage but... nothing like a raw group b

To answer your question Larry of it being the best FC body kit ever, I would say it's up there. I still personally prefer the ones by RE Amemiya, like the one particular one in white that has its pop-up headlights swapped with fixed rounded ones, making it look like a Porsche. But this is definitely up there.
This screams BMW M1 on the front end to me.
For me it's a mix of Lancia stratos and ferrari 308 group B, really cool car

The best TD04 single turbo FC's I have seen put out around 400hp at the wheels. Which, is pretty damn impressive for a car that lightweight. My S5 FC has a stock Cosmo 13B-RE with about 250ish HP at the wheels and the car weighs in at 2605lbs. Nice setup, but I could tell it was a swap when I saw the tach.
The round taillights only came on the s5 fc. The earlier model fc's came with square taillights.
