I've been in Denver for the last couple of years, but only because I have free rent as a house sitter. I'd never live here otherwise. It was a good place to live 20 or 30 years ago. Now it has all the problems of big cities with few of the advantages. It does have beautiful scenery, but that's mostly in the background when you're stuck in all the sprawl. It's now expensive, high crime, lots of homelessness, and too spread out to get anywhere easily.
Who the hell wants to pay $2500.00 for a one bedroom apartment. Tge homelessness is out of control.
Got out of the Army, moved to Denver, and immediately knew it was not for us! They are charging Los Angeles prices without being close to the beach. Yes, there are mountains, but there are no beaches. From Los Angeles you can drive ot the mountains in just a few hours so you get the best of both worlds. There is absolutely no reason to charge those prices for Denver. It has gotten out of control for what you get. We ended up moving to Colorado Springs and have been very happy here. We don't even go to Denver anymore as there's no reason to.
Yes there is a reason for prices...shipping costs...and we ll flood Arizona,New Mexico, and Texas for beachfront property
You get what you vote for.
Thanks for this vid - pretty informative! Can you please comment on the average rent prices for the areas outside of Denver (Castle Rock, Superior, others) I am looking more on the renting side for a year or two before deciding to purchase an actual home. Thank you!
Absolutely! The average rent in the surrounding areas will vary, but for the most part I would say a 1-2 bedroom apartment will be around $1500-$2000. For a single family home, those will be in the $2500 - $3500 depending on the size of the home.
false. WAY higher and overpriced for what it is. @@livingindenverpropertybros
The best I could find for a safe, decent apartment was $2300. Decided to buy instead.
Important to remember, there are many historic homes that weren’t built with cars in mind. Meaning no garage and tight streets.
Sucks people got deals on all these houses in Denver, now they stuck in a city that is quickly going down hill.
We almost got sucked into paying $550k for a 3 bedroom 2 bath house there. We decided it wasn't for us and paid $100k less for a 4 bedroom 3 bath house with a real backyard. Denver is just not it right now unless you're okay with paying high prices just to say you live in a major city.
Moved back 2 years ago😵 was in Oregon for 6 years and I wanna go back. The metro is so ugly ! PNW is so awesome. I'm planning my escape! The metro is brown and concrete. OR is green lush and a rain forest
700k in Washington Park was impossible 15 years ago let alone today
Yep too expensive & too crowded, too many homeless, then the cold winters too 😁
Superior is absolutely beautiful with the open space and the view of the great Flat Irons , I been living here for 26 years and love it.
Where’s will
He will not
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN he will not be in the video
STAY OUT OF LODO YUPPYVILLE...WAY overpriced....take the Western Suburbs
Denver sucks completely stay away.
People should be moving to Denver. You get more amenities and better value for your home, as a result. More advertising should be done for this city.
