Knicks definitely won the deadline after having the best trade prior to it. They are a legit threat to the Celtics. Knicks fans must be ecstatic right now.

Burks is a solid role player and veteran, he's got a nice pull up jumper.
Out of all (107) of the nba players who have taken more than 100 pull up jumpers this season, burks ranks 45th and bogdonavic is ranked 12th in makes. But also burks is shooting 40% from 3 this season while bogie is shooting 41%. Knicks got themselves not just guys that are shooting well but guys who can also do some creating for others
Bojan is the key piece in this deal.
Well see how much PT they get when Thibs sees how awful they are on defense. Bogi is a 6'8 forward avg 3 rpg. @maxdubs2241

As a Knicks fan, very excited about the roster with the huge caveat of health…OG Anunoby, Randle, Brunson, Hartenstein, Mitchell Robinson…injuries have been rampant
But the injuries are not season ending so they will be back.
Is Bojan's 2nd year guaranteed? If so, Leon is smart. 19 Mill 1 year contract is movable this off-season.
No player option, but apparently only 2 million or so is guaranteed. I'm assuming there are bonuses involved, not my area of expertise. I'm too casual a fan, if I'm honest.

What makes the Knicks good is that they have Donte, Hart, and OG that play great defense making it hard and frustrating to other teams. Jalen Brunson is a stud and carrying them hard on offense

Donte has been so good.. cant forget about him and i think Donte would still start, his connection with the starters, his energy and he always plays defense plus he has been a sniper and has only gotten better

Bojan and Burks are going give the Knicks some on-ball juice. Brunson will breathe easier with some help, especially since Randle is out.
I am also liking these moves, but I’m afraid of Milwaukee. I know Middleton is down, but Giannis inside and Dame from everywhere else in the playoffs. I don’t need that kind of heart attack lol
We have OG to suck on Dame and Giannis now. I trust Brunson before both guys to show up when it matters. No fear at all for a team that Cavs defend, has no depth and is coached by Doc Rivers lol

I still see the Celtics as the team to beat. Bucks and Sixers can be anywhere from #2-4 seed.
Brunson always has Donovan Mitchell’s number going back to Dallas vs Jazz. Having said that, wouldn’t shock me if Cleveland upsets someone in the second round.
Bucks while they have Giannis & Dame who in most series will be the 2 best players on the court are really shaky imo. Bad perimeter defenders, Doc as the HC, & idk I’m just not confident in them. Joel’s injury for the 76ers is scary even though he’s going to be back but will how long will it take him to get back in shape/rhythm. Plus Joel’s postseason success isn’t encouraging. I like the Cavs & Knicks more. Then there’s the Heat which who tf knows how they’ll preform come playoffs.

Mitchell is great regular season player, but chokes in playoffs. Donavan Mitchell should be third or forth option on championship team.
Over last 10 some years Celtics always had deepest team, but too dependent on one guy. Now if tatum chokes, entire team falls apart.

Pat Bev to Bucks. Presumably the Bucks want a hard-nosed defender to use in certain situations, but do they realize his D really fell off this year? I don't think Pat Bev moves the needle for the Bucks. And Lillard is still bad as a defender, even though he is now a second option behind the most energetic guy in the league, in Giannis, so he doesn't need to save energy. I'm starting to think this season may write the story on Lillard: incandescent shooter but actually bad defender. I call these "referendum trades."
