    I cannot wait for the day when I'll be able to afford one myself. I love what you build and I would like one day to come and see the factory since I live in Suceava and I'm not too far. I am building a kind of velomobile myself. It has three wheels but it tilts into corners and it's 1.3m high. Less aerodynamic but easier to get in and out

    You are on the right way to simplify the production process. It is not necessary that these are so shiny and freaky. It just cost money for few. A "Volkswagen Käfer" is needed.

    Some time ago I asked you if you could show me how such a velomobile is made. Simply because I was interested.
    You declined on CZcams.
    Now you're showing more than I had hoped for back then.
    It's absolutely interesting.
    That's what I was hoping for.
    What was your problem with showing this back then?
    Who is supposed to copy your work based on the information shown? Nobody!

      It is a lot of work and I declined to show details, in this video we did not show details

      @@VelomobileWorld I wasn't interested in the details.
      What you have shown in this video is enough to get an idea.
      I just find it interesting to see something like this.
      Thank you for the latest video.👍

    Excellent video Hannah! You are very talented and look forward to more of your future videos. Showing most of the critical steps of building a velomobile and fine tuning at the end really shows the high quality of the personal and product! 😀👍

    Great video! My experience with the people at Velomobile World has been first class. Hanna it would be nice to see the names of the workers who build our velomobiles.

    Ha! There was me thinking that Hannah was going to get a Velo, instead of a car. Now I think she is going to MAKE HER OWN!
    (Then she takes over the company.)
    (Probably then aims to take over the world :-).

    So sweet girl. Just wish those velomobiles would be cheaper, but as they are made completely by hand, it is not gonna happen. Those are real eco vehicles.

    • @VelomobileWorld
      @VelomobileWorld  Před 4 měsíci

      They need to be light and that's make it hard to make them

    • @intromortti
      @intromortti Před 4 měsíci

      @@VelomobileWorld I understand that. I just wish there would be something, even a bit heavier, what people like me, who have very limited budget, could afford. Now everything, even used ones are still way too expensive to me, and they are very rarely available. I hope someday those get more common, I haven't yet seen any in real life here in Finland, although some people have them, but not here where I live. A 2-wheeled low racer recumbent would also be great for me, they have sometimes been on sell and I have considered buying one some day.

    How long does it take from “start to finish”?

    • @mnveloguy
      @mnveloguy Před 5 měsíci +1

      Theoretically 4 weeks, but it typically depends on how many other Velomobiles are in line at the time. Sometimes things will back up at assembly causing it to take close to 6 or 7 weeks. The composite and painting stages take the most time. The resin needs time in the oven to cure and the painting stage is labor intensive with body filler, a lot of sanding, painting, and letting the paint cure.

    Please take care of the personal protection for the workers who deal with the fabric and the resin. I am not so sure if you can do this for a worklife of 40 years. I think these are serious chemicals.

      There is a strong ventilation system. Epoxy is heavier as air and we suck the air from the bottom and blow fresh air from the top
