They should have shown more of Ren and Yella because they were a big part of the group too. Ren wrote a lot of lyrics for N.W.A. The actor who played him was sexy as hell too.
The movie wasn't about the music, it was about the story of NWA, in which Ren and Yella took a backstep to the others.

The actor who played Easy-E did an amazing job. He had me in tears like I was watching Easy himself in the hospital. I really struggled with that scene, just because it was so real. Amazing talent

Favourite member be Dr. Dre, this was my introduction to Hip-Hop as well, and it was the best idea to give them a movie and contribute their legacy, just wish the Dre/Eazy beef was in it.

They made Dr Dre (and Cube somewhat) look like such a standup guy, portraying him as such a "perfect" and cool dude. They skipped out a lot of important stuff to N.W.A's journey, like the woman journalist Dre beat (over her and cube's interview) and his and Eazy's beef. Also they made Eazy look like such a low life weakling. Broke and stupid, not properly showing the fact he made multiple solo albums and songs AND him finding Bones Thugs and Harmony.

I already knew most of N.W.A's history, obviously there was some stuff I didn't but when we seen eazy trying to rap boyz in the hood, it felt like we was actually in the studio laughing not just watching a movie, if course when he died it felt like I knew him forever and it sucked.

Legit when he said "no one was gonna tell him how to live his life" I got a brief flash back, people were a lot more mature and real back then. You had different people with different attitudes because they were actually original and themselves! I miss how some people were hardcore in those days when they said things like, "what you staring at?!" or when they scuffed someone's shoe and that would trigger a fight! It was dangerous as fuck back then too but it made everything more enjoyable
