But if he would've gotten into the shape and loose more weight he could've looked better than the person that played him. Even in his songs he sounds like Eazy-e. I think at the end it played out to be just fine because the person that played him looks just like him with the glasses and the size it does match to what Eazy-e looked like. But yeah without the shades he doesn't really look like him if you see him good without them and all the light he doesn't look much like him. I'm an actor and I've never been through an audition process that took two years, that's insane. It's insane that they put him through that. It's almost like the studios wanted anyone BUT Ice Cubes actual son. They probably just thought "he's not an actor" - he proved them wrong.

Dre doesn't hold a grudge... Dre and Eazy reconciled a couple of days before Eazy was hospitalised. Although Dre/ Eazy's portrayals should've probably been reversed, the film is partially accurate in how it shows Eazy's financial difficulties towards the end. Bone Thugs admitted that they were partially paid in weed for the success of Art of War, as Eazy couldn't afford to fully pay them from funds already owned by Ruthless.
The movie left out major things that actually happened
The movie failed to show the beef between Dre and E. I was waiting for "Real Muthaphakin G" to show up in the movie after I saw "No Vaseline."

Eazy-E reached out to Ice Cube to come back to NWA and said fuck all the past shit it was dumb but Cube said the only way he'd come back is if Dre came back and their previous manager was not to be there at all. Eazy reached out to Dre, Dre said ok but they never got to go back and record anything because the damage that the HIV/AIDs took on E's body.
actually "real muthaphuckin g's" didnt come up until Dre and Snoop did fuck with Dre day, cause Easy was actually getting paid from the Chronic album due to Dre contract.

+The Wu-Cepticon no extended cut. All scenes were cut from the script. Only scenes cut from the movie were the Dre house fire at the pool party and the flashback to Dre's brother in the fight that got him killed. Only about 10 minutes got cut from the movie. It was cut from 3hrs to 2.45

Straight Outta Compton is a great example of the biopic formula done right and not made boring. Like Cube said, it goes further and delves into deeper issues like institutional racism and police violence. It's as much a story about Compton and LA at the time as it is NWA.

Saying O'Shea is well spoken sounds inconsiderate because why is it surprising for him to speak like that. It's all to do with perception and prejudgments. We live in a world where the media portrays the black youth as loud and ignorant, but when a black child speaks in a full grammatically correct sentence and says "yes sir/no sir" it's seen as "well mannered" and "well spoken", not a bad thing but it's basically a backhanded compliment. It's like saying you speak well for people of your color. "well" automatically implies a comparison, so you're comparing his speaking to your past judgements of other people (maybe not just young black actors, but young people in general). As a child growing up people would tell my mother I was so well behaved for being so young, of course my mom knew they were really saying I'm so well behaved for being a young black child. I know this sounds like I'm ranting about race, but complimenting O'Shea for being well spoken is kinda about race.
