- Chinese Premier Li Qiang has urged nations to rise above their differences in order to help developing countries tackle poverty and climate change. He is in Paris to attend the summit for a new global financial pact. This is Mr Li's first European trip since he became premier in March and is aimed at managing China's relations with Europe.

A new era...I do not see USA as being promoting regime change as USA is facing enormous headwinds both globally and within USA. China is not out to seize the leadership position but to work global harmony via open trade. The Ukraine war cannot last much longer...it is either a stalemate or some form of peace settlement will take place.
Climate change is over-hyped. What is needed is food and jobs for Africa...the biggest source of migration now. There are methods to grow food with smart water usage, growing drought resistant crops, etc. And no need to flood into Europe that is entering a harsh downturn.
The world needs to work together.

The only country standing in the way of this global prosperity and growth is America. It still cannot shed it great than thou ego and believes that is must always be the global hegemony of the world. As much as I would like to give respect to China's progress in its recent decades, I still think many of old generation Chinese leader including Premier Li Qiang needs to work on their public speaking skills. Reading off of prepared script gives us the idea he can not think critically off of the bat and garners zero respect. You see Macron looking the other way chatting with other leaders while Li Qiang was delivering speech. Seriously, we need more younger generation Chinese leaders on the stage. Chinese boomers should just go to retirement already. You guys have contributed to restore China back to the moderately prosperous society, but please let the younger generation lead China.
