I loved your opening. It was very funny. I have never been to a Whataburger. Like you i am impressed by the one nation under God. We do not have any around us. Thanks for the review.
Wish they had the banana pudding shake for you to try too! I had that burger you had Derrick when we went to Whataburger and thought it was just ok. I would definitely get a regular burger next time. I'm not sure how often each of their featured flavors last. Glad you got to go to Whataburger!
Yes, I actually got that burger because of seeing you get it in your video from Florida. I thought it looked pretty good. We were also glad to be able to go back to Whataburger, but wish they had the banana shake. Although, this shake wasn't too bad, either.
I had that same burger in Alabama last month on the way to Florida. Mine was AMAZING! And the restaurant/bathroom was super clean. I even feel like I saw a restaurant score of 100 posted on the wall. I liked that burger so much we stopped again on the way back. Mine had lots of bacon and just over all super fresh. So what I’m trying to say is, it could have just been that restaurant location that was a little lacking. I know you know this.😂 I was so excited when you said you were going to try that sweet and spicy burger that I was thinking you were going to love it just as much. I feel like mine had mayonnaise on it. Maybe I added it too. But now you’ve got me wanting that again.😂 I told my husband we should open one where we live in Knoxville. I hope y’all had a safe trip home.
Yes, the bathroom was really the only thing wrong with this location. The rest of the inside was clean. And the burger was good. It's just that all the flavoring and stuff was in the middle, and I wish they had spread it more over the entire thing. I guess I could've done that, as well. The piece of bacon was surprising. Everything else there is big, and I just thought the bacon portion might be adequate. We thoroughly enjoyed our first two visits to Whataburger, and would definitely go back. This one was good, as well.
Many of the Whataburger locations are taking down their "One Nation Under God" and "Family Owned" window decals since a Chicago Firm bought them out in June 2019.
Great reviews! I have not tried what a burger but Nashville is only 3 hours away so I will add it to my 2024 plans. I didn't realize they were there. If you ever go by a cook out restaurant they have thick shakes. 30ish to try and they have a banana pudding that is great. I really like their peach cobbler shake also. Their prices are very reasonable.
We have Cook Out everywhere around here. I think it is an NC chain. We go for shakes often. To be honest, though, I think their shakes are TOO thick. Lots of great flavors, but so thick, that I can rarely drink it right away. I made a reference to that in our "The St. Augustine Scoop Review". Yes, Whataburger is worth trying, if you get the chance.
We Love Whataburger being in Texas! They sometimes are hit & miss tho. We are now getting Bojangles chicken around Dallas Ft Worth. I bet it won’t be long until y’all have Whataburger 🎉
I think you'll like Bojangle's chicken, and even their breakfast biscuits. I don't know anyone who does biscuits any better. That's a North Carolina chain, and we've had those for years. Hopefully, we will eventually get a Whataburger.
They just built a new one in Commerce, GA. We wanted to try it out while we were there, but it didn't open until the following week. Can't wait to try it! 😀
We have never eaten at a Whataburger . However, one is being built in our town. I like burgers that aren't to thick. Love Patty melt on grilled rye with cheddar cheese . 🧀 😊
Love love whataburger. Glad you included this review. 3 coming to SCarolina soon. Can't wait !! , ate at my first one in San Antonio on Military Drive 3 years ago.
I LOVE onion rings. I am not at all a fan of Whataburger. We don't have them in Indiana but have tried them in a few places while traveling. BTW on onion rings.....I am a bit of a snob......LOL I like them battered as opposed to breaded and will NOT order if they are breaded. LOL Love your videos. God bless you. Happy 2024.
That was my thought, a little pricey for what I saw on video. We are getting one In Lexington, S.C. and will give it a try. If you are ever down this way try Maurices Piggy Park, they specialize in pork and chicken bbq but their burgers are top notch and battered onion rings as well. Enjoy watching you two, haven't seen you in a while. Happy Blessed New Year from down south
@@maggiemiles4272 Been to Maurice's, but it's been a long time. I got the BBQ. I remember the mustard-based sauce. Thanks so much for watching! I definitely recommend trying Whataburger.
@@maggiemiles4272 Love Maurice's onion rings. And Piggie Park BBQ is great! South Carolina's only Whataburger is in Greenville and is "temporarily closed" according to the website...
Thank you for your comment. We've been to two Whataburgers in Texas, and loved both of them. This one wasn't bad, but I agree with you. Should have been adequate bacon, and the sauce shouldn't have all been put in the middle. Is that what you noticed, as well?
I assumed you had to be joking, because those hamburgers actually have quite a bit of beef on them. More than most places. But we always appreciate somebody stopping by, just to tell us how bad something looked. Hope you have a happy New Year this time.
It is not the same thing, though. The writing is different. That one is not part of the Whataburger chain. In fact, there was even a lawsuit that required the one in NC, to write it differently. The chain in this video, writes it as one word without spacings.

We need a Whataburger here in Johnson City Tn. Our area is booming with growth. I also
agree about the bathrooms being clean.
Yes, the rest of the restaurant was immaculate. The men's bathroom was terrible. That was kind of a turn-off.
Safe travels, God Bless! ❤
Been to Whataburger in TX and AZ. Always worthwhile! I doubt they'll ever come to VA, though. Great video. God Bless!
Don't know if they will, or not. They are expanding. They are now in Georgia, and have been in Florida.
Never been to a Whataburger 😊 looked good. Thanks for taking us along. God bless
You're very welcome!
I would love to try this place! Thanks for the adventures!!

Never tried a Whataburger since there's not one in my area. Maybe one of these days if I'm near one. Thanks for the honest review as always.
We had 2 Whataburgers in Ocala, FL but they closed years ago. I liked them but they just had too much fast food burger competition. Looks so good!
Ive just stumbled across your channel and i must say you two are a very nice couple and i love your videos watching from england
Thank you so much! We are glad you came across the channel, and hope you continue to enjoy it.
