Of course, it shouldn't have had to happen, but I can totally see one of those types of bets, the "last one there is a rotten egg!" type of bets that never stop being amusing. So it was awesome that the soldier's friend honored the bet instead of forgetting it entirely; I know a lot of best friends I've had who would've forgotten bets, and we'd just shake it off. You can tell they were true buddies.

I have trouble with translating thoughts and intent into writing, and things get lost so they're misinterpreted sometimes by others without me realizing until later, and I don't have any idea how to explain because I have trouble with that too. It's so bad that I needed a scribe when I was in school. At least this time I know I can explain properly, but the next time it might be harder due to stress and focus.
