My personal victory against Mt. Rigged Fortune is self control. I play Mt. Fortune everyday with the free play. I have made it twice to the end without hitting any rocks. My strategy: only spend 100 coins, which means I only get 2 rocks and then leave with rewards or quit. I usually make it to the 2nd or 3rd Golden Card round and I have accumulated hints, rockets, coins, bees, diamonds and portraits, slow and steady this way. Take that Mt Fortune!
When do i get the chance on playing my. Fortune because im at level 73 and still havent gotten to oppotunity to play it yet. If you have any info it would be appreciated if i were informed.
After collecting so many data and doing test runs, I can conclude that Mt. Fortune is absolutely rigged. The number of coins you spend hitting rocks will eventually cost more than the prizes you receive. For that reason alone, always start this game during a free play.
For me, it just automatically changed to the Winter Wonderland. It probably depends on the WS version that you have. You will need to have the version that contains that update
I’ve got an interesting thing to share with you. I’ve got 15 bonus words with no words in the puzzle. In the same game, I’ve got 23 bonus words with only one word in the puzzle. Apparently this game times out because when I went back to it, it was gone. And I’ve got a pic of both. I wonder what the odds are…
Yes, I must admit I have also reached level 12 without getting a rock as well! I don't know if they changed something, or it was just a matter of averages.
I am almost at level 3000 and have never seen an option for this ...the only reason I know it's there now is because my bf has the same app. .he's only at like level 500 ...is there a way to activate it or something. ..it's not on mine at all ..never has been..
I had it appear very briefly not too long after I downloaded the game only for it to disappear for about a year. Now it is available daily...hopefully it stays that way.
It's never happened to me, but people on my team have said they've made it to the top of the mountain without hitting a rock. Do you think they're pulling my leg?
@@crownsandrockets It feels rigged to me. Definitely not straight odds. My guess is they're gaming us most of the time and for every extremely rare X games (several hundred or thousand) they'll let a game through with no rocks to keep you coming back. (and tell your friends about the unicorn game)
It is impossible to not hit one rock before level 10. For example, if you get to level 9 without hitting a rock yet, level 9 is 100% guaranteed to be a rock.
99% chance of rock on level 16 when I play. I only join when it is free play and most of the time I quit after level 15 unless I didn't hit that many rocks before then. You have to know when to fold em.
I have no doubt it's rigged. Last week there was a strange oversite. The "Portraits" snow pack event was active despite it being march lol. I clicked on it and it was letting me open up boxes despite the fact that I had like 1 open available to use somehow. I kept opening up a new box..."1 open left" So I opened up another because I had only 4 pictures left to collect. Still said I have another box to open.. So I spent like 2 hours straight! smashing the open button revealing box after box of portraits for this particular collection. I only needed 4 pictures (actually it was just the narwhal, Whale and Ox pictures but I needed multiples of them) I would get like 40 pictures of all the sets I already had but 0 of the last two or three I needed. The game new I needed them and wouldn't cough em up. After like 100 box openings I'd get 1 actual picture that I needed. Then another like 100 openings before I got another one of that picture. But the second I got 3/3 of that one picture that was SO difficult to come by....I got like 10 of them within the next 15 box openings lol. When I was down to my last picture it took me about 30 minutes of mashing an unlimited open box button to score that final picture to get the 100% complete collection. The reward picture btw is a white snow Yeti. Which I'm using as my profile pic :p So yeah...the game "knows" to limit you when you get to a certain % of completion to sucker you into buying gold to accomplish that last 5%
and I am now refusing to play Mt Fortune. The prizes are NOT worth the gold coins unless if you're like this guy with 50k gold and nothing better to spend them all. But recently they offered a new pet for 900 gold coins. No real money. Just gold coins that you can earn for free. Since then, I value my gold and am not spending it on Mt Fortune for like 40 extra hearts and a few bees. I can get that with just using an animal. I'm not missing out on a future big pet gold purchase because I spend it breaking even every day on Mt Fortune. Get your 100 free daily coins and then spend it on saving your rewards... no thank you. I don't really care for more collectable pictures. Especially now knowing that the game won't let you complete the set without a massive amount of investment
It's totally rigged plus I have another problem. I got to 94% then when filling up my counter with the duplicates it thinks that I've completed the set and gives me the 250 coins. I've complained to support and supposedly they are working on it. I've noticed that I almost always get a rock on the level before the rewards or lately on the level after. I have and iphone and an ipad so just tried playing on the ipad to the top which I need 4 more cats and there are 5 cats. After not getting the 5 cats I'd go back to my iphone and restore the older game which has my free Mt Fortune then I'd switch over to the ipad and use the cloud save to continue once again with the free game. Just did this 8 times picking randomly and almost always got the rocks on all the same levels. Plus every time level 23 would give me the same 1 horse. On level 25 no matter what square I chose I got the 5 rats. It's all predetermined. Not getting two unique new pics for completing the duplicate counter just added another level of frustration. I'm going to wait a few more days and then try several free runs in a row.
Sorry to hear about that issue - that is definitely frustrating. I did have that happen to me one time, but the next time that I built up the 20 duplicates, it started giving me the portaits again. Hopefully they can fix it soon!
FYI Since I have two devices and can always restore back afterwards I decided to do a little experiment. First I played an entire level and wrote down what I got on each level. Restored and replayed it over again. And yes every single level came up exactly the same as before. Then I kept playing. It's all about them collecting money right. I payed and played 5 more levels in a row. Guess what after finishing the 3rd game the 2 new duplicate reward bonus just magically started working. Then after game 4 it worked again and gave me two more new pics. Then after game 5 (which for the first time I got hit with the 1200 rocks twice) on level 25 I finally got the advertised +5 Cats. Then the duplicate bonus not only worked again but gave the final +2 rat pics. Animal Royalty 100% complete. Final cost 11,922 coins. I'm going to restore my old save from before and wait and see what happens.

As far as I know there is no way to make it show up. It will just be activated one day when you update your app
My girlfriend doesn't have it either. I'm an Android, she's an Apple. Maybe this is your situation.

I guess I can only go by my own experience, but I have played over 200 times and those were my results.

Has anyone ever got to level 10 without hitting a rock? I always seem to hit one on level 9 if I avoid them on levels 1 to 8
It is impossible to not hit one rock before level 10. For example, if you get to level 9 without hitting a rock yet, level 9 is 100% guaranteed to be a rock.

What makes me believe that there's a scam hidden there is the fact I never get two rocks in a row. If you get one, be sure the next one is a reward.
