It all depends on the culture. In Scandinavia, people really value their independence. If you would go to a disabled person, seemingly struggeling and ask him if je needs help, they would be very very very offended. They want to be deemed as regular people that have the dignity of a person who isn't disabled. They'd rather struggle through a meal and say " I did it myself", then be fed and feel diminished. They would seriously get angry. So it's not always rudeness. It's sometimes more about boundaries and respect that works different in every culture.
I believe that most of the people around us wanted to help when we're struggling but couldn't find the proper and respectful way to approach thinking it could trespass someone's privacy. That's what I feel.
this! im always afraid cause i dont know if they would see me as someone who trying to help or someone who invade their privacy/business. im also afraid that they think i pity them. so i always try to ignore and dont help at all even i really want to help.
The young man was helping and telling him that he will be okay one day, asking him to try to eat with his hands so he can do it himself in future and not rely on others. I found it to be great because he was actually teaching him how to eat so he can do it in situations where he's alone. that was beautiful.
My sister was sadly disabled like this but passed away at a very young age in a tragic accident. I was always so worried about how the outside world would treat her when I wasn't there to protect her & help her. Even when there is the ugly, it's good to know there's so much beauty & good in the world.
As a disabled person that doesn’t visibly appear to be disabled, It’s rare that I find people as kind as this willing to help me or understand that I can’t do all of the things that they can. Even when I use my wheelchair, people would rather shame me than leave me be. It’s very heartwarming to see these people helping out this man. More people need to be like this 🥰
When I say to people that I love China and I love Chinese people, they are always judgmental because they judge the country and its people according to the media and stereotypes. This channel shows perfectly well why I love China and Chinese people ! I was skeptical myself and it’s not a perfect place but when I went there as a foreign woman by myself , so many people helped me so kindly , never ever I have met such kind hearted and warm people in my life . Later, I got an academic degree about China because I was so impressed with the people and culture
Let's respect for Chenyang's acting. His facial expressions, the way he walk, the way he trying to eat with shaky hands, The way he talking . It was perfect.
The first girl touched me the most. She just looked, but when she saw that the person definitely couldn’t cope, she didn’t think she extended her hand. It would seem that usually, in such situations, it is necessary to ask, "Do you need help?"and then act, but she seemed to help without even thinking. Isn't it touching
This is why I love Chinese people so much. The kindness they show strangers is amazing. If you show respect to them it is returned. Americans need to take example of their good nature. If this experiment was done here I fear most would watch and or laugh. There are some good people here granted but not many would should this level of respect. I love these videos he makes to show how good hearted people are.
What the heck bruh he really is a great actor for sec i really thought he was disabled 😍😍😍 video was very heartwarming 🌼🌼🌼also after after this video I guess he is full for at least two weeks because everyone feed 😂😂😂
No wonder nothing in this World can defeat this Ancient Nation, because they always taking care each other I stand with China🇨🇳 From Indonesia🇮🇩 Together we are strong🇮🇩🤝🇨🇳🔥
This video brought tears to my eyes. I wish more people were so kind like this. I was in a wheelchair a while back due to a spine injury and I went out by myself and was made fun of by so many people. Knowing that there is indeed kind people out there, warms my heart so much. Thank you for showing the kindness that still exists.
The message is good and I believe done with beautiful intentions. However, I think hiring an actual actor with this type of disability would be more meaningful. In any case, thank you for this video!!
No. They don't like to see that. Invisible disabilities like the deaf girl, yes. OK. But anything visible is a no no. Even if they did have someone with an actual disability (like in the korean social experiment vids), they would STILL chose the non disabled handsome actor instead. Here he can pretend and act and when the scene is done he can stop acting like he has a disability. How fortunate. The logic behind some fans of this channel are, "disabled people don't like to be schlepped around all day". But elderly seniors and children do. Great intentions but tone deaf in execution, still 10-20 years behind the rest of us.
@@giuliab8484 no it's just unsightly for their audience and for them. If south korea can have MULTIPLE disabled people participate across VARIOUS channels, why can't China? They still rather just glamorize it to make some money.
@@RecoveringChristian ask yourself if SK can have BTS why don't your country have that? I bet you must be thinking "there are billions of Chinese so why can't they find one or two disabled actors?" They're based on a small(in Chinese standard) city with limited resources + they have talented actors so why bother? What glamour are you talking about? + the entertainment industry of South korea in general is very advanced than China which means acting, dancing, singing or other arts as hobby or profession are extremely mainstream in Sk.

Straight from the hospital I didn't eat anything for the whole day. Struggling to hold the spoon my mom spoon feed me entire meal Im so grateful for her. When he told the auntie “I’m done eating” after like two bites it’s probably been couple of experiments after, so he’s proper full but the scene where the auntie was scooping in that bowl meant she had successfully made him eat the whole thing anyways😂 kudos to chenyang’s acting AND STOMACH cuz I’d never
