It worked for me ! Obd eleven needed. Car on, engine off Scan car, go to airbag section, clear fault. Airbag light should turn off. (He said If there is actually a problem with the airbag then the light will not go off. Im seeing online it will go off but come back if there is actually a problem- idk how true any of this is)

Without using code meter which I don't have your solution is of no use to me.
Your local VW dealership should service for free or any mechanic shop.
