Greetings from a cold wet windy Scotland. I use a Deus 2 and just loving it. Not going to get into this “ my detector is the best “ arms race, spending time and effort learning and enjoying what I have. I really believe it’s all the detector I could ever want or need. Thanks for the great video.
Good video. I run a nox800 since they came out.Did look at the D2 but I hate the audio compared to the Nox, so when my old 800 dies it will be the 900👍
Great job Mr. People don't realize how hard it is to take different models and try to set them up similar for comparison. Seems like the D2 really put a spanking on the minelabs.
Nox 900 = pay 300 more and get some cosmetics and a 6" coil. Oh and a leakage fix supposedly. If you already own a 600 or 800 and go out and buy the 900 from hype/fomo then I think you've been a victim of the old remarketing trick
The Nox 900 looks really good. My main detector right now, is my Legend with my Nox 600 as my backup. But I'm seriously considering getting a Nox 900. Do you think it would be worth upgrading, to a nox 900 over the Legend?
The Legend is a good machine. I did use a friend's for a weekend but decided to stick with my 800 at the time. Not sure you would gain much by going to the 900. Although the 900 does have great balance and ergonomics over the Legend from what I remember when using it.
In terms of performance the 600 and 900 should do the same thing. It just has cosmetics and extra target id's and apparently doesent leak yet. Oh and it comes with a 6" coil. So basically you have to pay extra for it becoz u get a coil, so it's smartly done by minelab. It just dawned on me, there will be lots of spare 6" coils around soon bcoz people who upgrade will get another 1 whether they want it or not. Looks like I'll be able to snag one up for half price or even less. Looks like buying the 800 was better after all value for money wise
I watched your video doing the comparison between the 900 and Manticore. Now I don't know if I should get the Deus 2. The struggle is real. Any suggestions for a first time detector? If I'm going to spend money on one I want to get the best that is the lightest and easy to understand and operate. Thank you.

I currently have the Nox 600 that I’ve owned for three years and The Legend that I’ve had for almost a year. I enjoy both. My next detector may be the Nox 700. I haven’t seen the Nox 700 used on videos like the 900. I never really needed the prospecting mode. This is why I chose the 600 over the 800. Will you be testing out the Nox 700 in one of your videos? (Liked and subbed.) 👍
900 sounds good compared to 800. They have to be setting tweaks vs. apples to apples. Have you tried fe and fe 2 tweaks to get a similar signal as the 900

I have the D2 it's very deep with a 2 tone program using beach sensitive. The D2 is deeper but the 900 will probably handle the EMI better on the beach. The Manicore also. BUT...the Manicore going to have problems with deep bottle caps as they have a Halo effect on the beach. In square tones I can easily iD bottle caps with no problems. Thats with bottle cap reject on a 2 on the D2. I know a guy who using his Manicore on the beach now he digging a lot of bottle caps now.
You are comparing apples to oranges here. Why do people compare products that cost 50% or more than other products and expect some sort of better results for the lower cost products?
I had the 800 and a deus 2 deus 2 beats the 800 in every way in my opinion haven't tried the 900 and have no intention of ever getting another minelab after my experience with the 800 poorly made unbalanced leaks in my opinion a truly horrible piece of rubbish .
I have to agree with everything you've said. Although I would sell my 800, and be happy with just the Deus II. I don't think it's worth selling it at this point, the market has been flooded with detectors. So, I am just keeping it as my back-up /loaner. Only one caveat, no under water duties. 😒
Pretty common on any CZcams video anymore. They have to make money somehow. If you think I'm making a bunch of money on CZcams ads you would be mistaken.

I agree. I think most of the upper end metal detectors you can't go wrong with these days.

They all look pretty close to me, and all great detectors. If anything the 900 sounded a little better on those targets to my ear.

No sorry will not be getting 700
You need to watch a few videos on the 900 and 700...this time there will be a few items missing from the 700. You get a lot of "extras" with the 900.
IMHO Deus2 wins again In all tests much clearer 'signal' shame the Manticore wasn't included love your vidz with your mates 😉keep em coming👍
