  • We released a new resource for our fans of DENIX replicas. They often ask us to develop replicas of more dynamic and realistic weapons.
We work hard to achieve this and we always preserve the safety of replicas that are 100% harmless. Our replicas have mechanisms that make the experience more dynamic and real, but this entails that our fans try to personalize and customize them by making them their own. Enjoying their replicas and the experience with their stories.
You already know that in DENIX we strongly discourage the manipulation of our models to modify or alter both their appearance and their functionality. And we decline any responsibility for the result of the changes made by the customer in any of our original models.
But many of you do it and you ask us how to mount or dismantle our weapons. We think that this video tutorial can help you. And so become experts among the fans of our historical weapons replicas.
    Hope you enjoy it.

      Ok... One at a time...
      1. Yes I fixed it
      2. I unscrewed all 4 screws, and then used a tiny flathead screwdriver to separate the two pieces held together by the screws
      3. I didn't need anything, It was just an afternoon of trial and error to get everything back into place.
It still comes apart on the inside sometimes when it gets dropped or even just fired, so my suggestion is to just not use it at all once it's fixed.

You should improve the saa denix models to have a classic 4 click hammer system and also allow the cylinder to be removed like a real saa, in would also make the gun 100% metal, and also make all denix revolvers to fire toy caps that would be a money seller and more realistic.

The spring that provides tension to the timing lever came off. So I took it apart to put it back on and there really is no way that spring is going to stay on. Perhaps if it had some sort of lug on the timing lever or maybe even a groove, but with nothing, it comes off immediately when you use it. Very poorly designed. Any ideas on how to keep the spring on? Without it the cylinder does not rotate between shots.

@@MrFantom_ dude, thank you so, SO MUCH!!
I had to take apart mine because after a while of hard use the hammer started being a little weird to cock. It wasn't anything major but it did bother me a little, and since i had all the tools at hand and nothing better to do i decided to just disassemble it. That part went relatively smoothly (apart from prying apart the 2 pieces with a thin piece of metal so hard i bent it by like 30 degrees. Also i damn near lost an eye when pulling out the bigger spring under the hammer). Anyways, i didn't notice anything broken inside, so i tried to just put it back together and see if it fixes the issue. Yeah, i didn't know what I was in for. I was at this for like an hour, trying everything in my power to put that stupid spring back into place without it slipping under the other piece, until i gave up and tried again today. After another hour of struggling, i was getting worried that my gun was busted and decided to desperately look through this comment section for people with the same issue. Thank god i found you man, because after bending the end of the spring a little to the left, and also slightly up so it wouldn't slip out as easily, my replica is working better than ever. Although my original issue isn't totally fixed, it is a little less noticeable, and also the trigger feels a lot smoother than before I took it apart. Thanks again man for sharing your fix cause i would've lost my collective shit if i couldn't put that thing back into place. Much love
Edit: Nevermind, after playing around with the gun a little bit my issue has fixed itself and now the hammer is buttery smooth.

Unfortunately Denix Does Not produce Historically Accurate Replicas. The screws placements and number of screw and type are wrong, often the cylender stop notches ar of a type never used on any revolver throughout history Except by Denix, the Faux cartridges are shape and dimensionally wrong the hammer clicks when cocking are wrong cap and ball revolvers had 3 clicks till converted to cartridge then some had 4 click. Cap and ball revolvers the hammer had 2 sear stages the 1874 colt had 3 sear stage
The Cylender on Colt Always turned Clock wise Only plus Could not turn at all unless the hammer was in the half cock position. which allowed loading and in loading.
All smith and wesson revolvers were the same except the cylender turned Counter clock wise only.
The clicks of cocking the gun were never ever meant to spell out C.O.L.T. until they started converting to cartridges revolvers had only 3 clicks when being cocked then from bout 1868 they started adding an extra seat notch on hammers of single action revolvers for Colt Remington Smith and Wesson and others.
The 3 click revolver was a 2 stage hammer.
    First click
Is the sound of the trigger engaging the seat Half Cock position
This freed the cylender to rotate allowing the revolver to be loaded with powder ball and precision cap.
    Second click
Is the the cylender locking bar engaging the cylender but not yet locked.
    Third click
Is the sound of the trigger engaging full Cock sear notch at same time cylender lock bar engages lock notch securing the chamber directly in line with the barrel forcing cone ready to fire.
The 4 click Revolver was a three stage hammer.
    First Click
Is the sound of the trigger engaging the first sear notch on the hammer this was called the safety notch which enabled the user to carry fully loaded Safely with out resting the firing pin on a primer or on the commenter wall between cartridges.
    Second click
Is the sound of the trigger engaging the seat Half Cock position
This freed the cylender to rotate allowing the revolver to be loaded loaded and unloaded.
    Third click
Is the the cylender locking bar engaging the cylender but not yet locked.
    Fourth click
Is the sound of the trigger engaging full Cock sear notch at same time cylender lock bar engages lock notch securing the chamber directly in line with the barrel forcing cone ready to fire.
Other noticeable in accuracies are on the 1873 colt the older version till roughly 1890 the cylender axle was secured by a single screw at 45 degree up angle in fron of frame below cylender axle these were called black powder frames.
As more modern smokless powder became available they change the way the cylender axle was secured in place from.a sinle screw on front of frame to a spring loaded screw mounted crosswalk through the frame under the cylender axle. With gun on half cock loading gate open you press the button to remove the cylender axle allowing the cylender to slide out and on the right side of the frame.
The older colts had 1 piece wooden grips later changed to 2 piece hard rubber called bakelite similar to todays plastic.the grips were held on by a single long thin small.head fine thread machine screw.
The pistol grip and trigger guard are a two piece frame back strap.hel on by 2 screws on on each side of the hammer and one on butt of pistol grip near the front toe. The trigger guard was held on by 3 screws 1 in front of trigger guard near front bottom if the frame the other to on either side just to the rear of the trigger guard loop.
The would grips would usually be walnut or rose wood not cheap pine rough cut and poorly stained in a vain attempt to look a bit better.
The trigger wheater the gin is cocked or uncocked sits in the wrong position giving the impression it is double action rather then single action.
Bore diameter of muzzle way off bore diameter of each chamber way off from.caliber it supposed to replicate but what even worst it's off again from.the muzzle.bore diameter.
The finished on therepluca pistols are way off and very cheap looking rub off and scratch up very easily.
The most realistic finish is the bare dull grey metal finish.
Overall weight not even close to the real thing proportions are wrong overall sized are wrong.
The hammer on the cap and ball revolvers for certain defanatly snap in.half from.repeated dry fireing. They also snap in half on the other revolvers as well from dry fireing only not as often as the cap and ball replicas.
Yes they are nice to look at but be aware that they are mentbonly as a decoration not to be dry fitted and played with. Strictly to hang on walls or put in a display case and admired on low light from a distance then and only then do they look height quality and like the real powder burner but in day light and 39 feet or closer it deffinately looks like a cheap toy
