    I purchased one of these a couple months ago. I love it. For cleaning - I put it in the sink and fill it with soapy water after each use. Let is sit a few minutes then give it a quick wipe down and let it air dry. I also wipe out the bottom, sides and top of the inside of the air fryer itself. It takes seconds and it's done. Much easier than cleaning your frying pan and then trying to get all the grease of the top of your stove. If you are cooking something really greasy like chicken wings you can add a little water (couple of tablespoons) to the bottom of the pan and that will keep it from smoking.

    @skykitchen867 Před 2 lety +4

    I bought mine in 2019 and it still works great! The vents in the basket are clogging more due to slight wear of the non stick coating, but a toothbrush cleans it all out just fine.

    Add a little water or a piece of bread in the bottom between the air fryer basket and the bucket when cooking greasy or oily foods that should take care of your smoke issues. Works for me. 👍

    Your cons with this machine are all solvable - soak the basket as soon as you have taken cooked food out, dry on kitchen towel to allow water to drain completely. Wipe the machine out after each use and maybe deep clean once a month. As for it dripping when you take it to you plate, for goodness sake what’s wrong with you???? Take your plate to the machine (sorry dogs one less treat) and the very obvious - cut your steaks before you freeze them. I have the very same machine and I love it! Have a good day 😀

    Dude, if you clean the thing after every use, then you won't have any cons!! All of your cons (except size) are associated with not cleaning the unit after every use. I love this thing!! Thanks for the excellent review! Been going crazy trying to review all the available AF models out there (there are a lot, and it gets overwhelming). The Cosori overall has pretty much the best reviews, but every AF that I've come across has some negatives about it from people. What I really wanted was a toaster oven/air fryer unit which will hold more food, but we just don't have the counter space, so hopefully this will work well and be big enough. Thanks again!

    Here in the UK I have a 4ltr (3.5 qtz??) and I love it. They do have their limitations but are so convenient. I also have a large Halogen glass bowl oven which is more versatile as I can cook liquids in it without it being blown all over the insides.
    All ovens will need cleaning. For the basket, after cooking I just leave it in the pan and pour an inch or so of hot water in the bottom with washing up soap and leave 20 mins. everything is then easy to wipe off. Occasionally I unplug the device and lay it on its back with the basket removed, the n it's simple to clean with a damp cloth. Nice video, I've subscribed.

    I have watched many videos n this fryer but have never heard anything about dripping...of course most people take the plate to the stove if that is how they serve food, others use platters and bowls but you still take the dish to the pot.! as for cleaning just submerge into soapy water and I use a soft bristle long handle brush and give it a few swipes in the crevasses if you have a dishwasher I understand they are safe in this machine.....I would probably have my basket cleaned and drying by the time you got it in the DW.

I’got a cosori air fryer and Ive never experienced that dripping coming out of it. I clean my air fryer well after every use. I’ve made everything you can think of in it. I think if you got a big family you need to think about the size before you buy an air fryer especially if you like cooking giant steaks you would need something bigger.

    Can anyone give cooking instructions for 2kg whole chicken in this air fryer. Does it need preheating? Do you press chicken button, followed by preheat?

    • @airfryeverything7943
      @airfryeverything7943  Před 3 lety

      I'd preheat it first by pressing preheat button. Then you could try the chicken button. Once it finishes, take temp, then maybe flip and use judgement on how much longer it should be in. Check out my duck video to get an idea

      That sucks, I’m sorry! Cosori has good customer service and will send you out a new one if you wanted. I haven’t had any problems like that thus far and every company experiences defective products every once in awhile. In my opinion, it’s how they handle the service after which is a make or break.
      If I were in your position, I’d reach out to Cosori directly and let them know the issue to see if they’d send a new one. Then after that if the new one sucks or breaks then I’d return it and classify it as crap
