He probably only looked at first results and was looking for info on the bands history. Google shows minimal amount of photos unless you're specifically browsing images, and usually will only do up to date photos.
Wikipedia doesnt show photos of all the masks used. He was surprised by the mask change. He doesnt know about that because he's never followed them through the years. Thats how people forget history. Only concerned with the current and not where things came from.

I'm From Des Moines Iowa. One of my good friends in high school was in this music video. I was planning on going too, but my boss called me into work. I was foolish enough to not let my boss down, and has been one of my biggest regrets in life for missing out. It was just a high school grocery job after all. Fun fact: the first kid in the opening scene flew in from England just to be in this video. The members thought it was so cool that the kid was that much of a fan, they put him front and center for the opening shot.
Edit: 2 weeks ago my fiance won tickets to knotfest with meet and greets in Tampa Florida. I had a 2 day notice and told my boss I was going. I did, and I still have a job. Moral of the story, dont live life with regrets.

It was def one of the dark times in my life. Parents separated, I was slipping in a friend’s basement when I was staying with my mom, n my dads house had no heat or electricity or water. Their music related to the anger n confusion I felt as a 12 yr old during the 08 recession. This was the first song I ever heard of theirs. I’ve been hooked ever since.

There are so many awesome and fun facts about stuff he's done durring concerts, as stand in for other bands as he seemingly is the only drummer skilled enough to act as a stand in, and much more.
