This is a great video and happy to see many other modelers in our hobby starting their own channel to help spread the knowledge, fun, and excitement of our hobby! Wow, what a great way to display model kits with the box art! Louis is very talented with his builds and excited to see his Channel grow. Great show! Always loved the obscure, mainstream type vehicles. It always seemed that Johann specialized in those kits.

Talking about the BOX, I say is like collecting records. I wish I had a hobby room to display my models the same way. Because of lack of space, I cut out the face of the box and put it in an album. Great interview.

I’ve been watching the Autistic Modeler for about two weeks or so. He has great content, and, hopefully, he can get some more subscribers after this.
I think it’s really great that you do these shows with other CZcamsrs. I would love to see, Chris, the hpiguy. I’ve swapped messages with him a few times, and he seems like a cool guy.

Hey guys thank for taking the time for this video it was great to have you gabbing together 👏 IMHO. It seems to me that you approach the builds, in totally different ways and yet they are equally relevant and very, very good. You casually strolled through several great topics including modelers ‘’assembling’’ …and why if you are an oddball modeler (like moi!) it is uncomfortable to bring your work to shows when you know that the local club guns will be counting each others rivets.
but this is why it is more import to go ..when I go to model meets I just bring my stuff and participate out of contest . I go to see others work and I want to bring some “water to the mill’’ as well.

I just subscribed to his channel. I'm on the spectrum myself. Probably Asperger's. I've never been given a diagnosis officially. When I was a teen and young kid, there were a lot of issues.
My middle is ADHD and my youngest is non verbal ASD with many other issues. Both are smarter than you can imagine. I've been trying to get my middle child, he's 7, to sit down long enough to glue some model pieces together.
Joshua, I wasn’t diagnosed until my mid 30s, so about 10 years ago. It’s tough getting labeled I know, but having a diagnosis about yourself is key. You start learning how to cope and learn new skills in social situations. Thank you for subscribing.
@@TheAutisticModeler I eventually made into the military. The structure actually helped a lot. But I struggled at first one I got to my regular unit after basic training. Took forever to open up to people. But now with PTSD and depression, it'll take nearly a miracle to get the doctors to consider autism. So I don't push it.
But I see people on the spectrum and hear their stories, and my childhood and the struggles I had like with a lot of theirs. Not just in a few ways like being shy. But every new school year taking 2 months before comfortable enough to answer a single question when called on. Taking 0's on assignments because of public speaking issues. Could never look people in the eyes. Still can't.
Many other scenarios that line up with aspergers, which they've lumped in with ASD now. My mom did tell me not long ago I had one doctor tell her I had aspergers but she didn't want to put a label on me and have me get made fun of and all that. So they tested me a lot. Took several iq tests, say in on higher grade level classes even going back to second grade. But still always struggled with boredom in school. Anyway, I'm rambling. Preaching to the choir. You know all the standard symptoms. Just cool to see a modeler on CZcams that does fantastic work.
I find peace and solitude in model building.
