The wait is finally over~! Here's my first-ever room tour. :D My bedroom is a place for me to sleep, work, and create, so while decor was important, so were organization and functionality! It's an all-white bedroom with blue accents and mermaid-inspired decor, with some anime vibes too. ✧⁺⸜(●′▾‵●)⸝⁺✧ I hope this tour gives you ideas for your own room makeover!!

Dat bed doe... So smart! But honestly I love it all and if I wasn't in temporary housing for school, I would be stealing idea--I mean, taking some imspiration from your room. I am an interior design nut so this all made me very happy. Plus, cosplay crafty spaces are my fav. ^_^

MangoSirene Same but my heart and pancreas(I'm type one diabetic) said to follow culinary arts so I can figure out a safer way to eat and cook but also make it taste delicious(Seriously, diabetic food is bad and I can't part with all the good food that's out there). xD

Wow Nina!! This is more organized than my bedroom and wow I like how you kept a consistent them to it! I love organizing things and ya I feel like at times my dorm room is more organized than my room back home but ya this is great! I like how you can put all the things that you like to do in one room.
This is very hard, I would say my favorite would be the plushies area and your books next to it so you can just dive into the plushies and relax. The next would be your photos of your friends by your sewing machine. In my dorm room, I've been in the bottom bunk, I use the top of my bed to put thank you notes, inspirational cards/reminders I get from my friends in Women's Chorus and in general, and a few posters. Right on the side of where I sleep I put notes from my RAs and pictures of friends and family. Its a great reminder to keep going, know I have people supporting and praying for me, and to not forget the important things.
I really like how you have the lighting on your work space no wonder your Insta photos come out with great lighting!

I like that you said you finally have a room you want to show the internet. I always thought it would be fun to do a room tour myself since I love watching other's, but I've never felt like my room looked nice enough to share with the internet XD Also your room looks kind of on the smaller side like mine so that gives me hope that I can actually find a way to have my room look cute, but also be functional for all the hobbies I have

I honestly can't thank you enough because I have been decorating and rearranging my room this week to have a mermaid aesthetic. Which is very silly and ironic. I have also been on the hunt to find a perfect light/pale blue comforter or quilt and that quilt looks almost exact to the one I was imagining. The sea is very calming to me and mermaids have always fascinated me as a child. So thank you so much for sharing your beautiful ideas with us and being so thoughtful as to linking the items! I shared a room with my sister for years, it was always about function not fashion, so when I got my own HUGE room at 15 I decorated it with all white furniture, pinks, purples, and some black thrown in, my theme is pretty much pink Victorian mansion. 😆

Grab two giant trash bags, then start in one corner and work your way around the room clockwise. Anything you haven't touched goes in 6 months either goes in one bag for donations, or the second bag for trash. If you haven't touched it in 6 months, you don't need it. (I like to save things because I'm super sentimental, but decluttering helps so much with mental health and stress levels!)
