Looks great! 30W is pretty low power. I could run that in my tent off my inverter & battery. I know there was a propane operated one years ago, but I haven't seen that in years. Dry boots are a must and they're super hard to dry them in hunting camp. At home I just rest over the heat registers in the floor overnight. Thanks for the review!
Just bought one today for my bf and I’m kind of hoping it works well because my bf works in landscaping and is always In some sort of moisture environment.
It's drying when it's plugged in. If you put a shoe on it, you'll be able to feel some warmth in the shoe after a few minutes. I can also sometimes detect a faint smell in the air when I put a shoe on it.
I pull one of the boots off the dryer after an hour or two and run my hand inside the sole and can tell that it is drying significantly faster than just air drying. If my boots were really wet, I can also sometimes smell a faint smell of the leather drying.
You don't have to turn it on. When you plug it in, it is operating. You can't hear anything, but it's working. I've got my boots on it right now and they were soaking wet from shoveling snow. About 6 hours later, they're pretty much dry.
If you’re a construction worker and your boots get dirty and soaked, don’t buy this if you’re looking to wear dry boots the next day. You’re better off using a small fan
@@MinuteontheMountain i get home at 7pm. I wash my boots by 9pm and have to leave work by 5am. I don’t want to hope my boots are thoroughly dry. The thing doesn’t even have an on switch. I do better with using my little fan

It doesn’t have an on switch. lol that why people ask, “how do you turn it on” poor design but I’m sure there’s better boot dryers out there. I doubt soaked boots dry in 3 hrs.
You are correct. There is no on switch. Poor use of words on my part. And I agree, boots that are really soaked wouldn't dry in 3 hours. I actually hiked about six miles in slushy snow today and they're on right now. It's been about 4 hours since I put them on and they're not dry yet, but considerably dryer than when I put them on. That would come in super handy, at times! Seems like a forced air system would work faster, but maybe not as efficient.
I agree it would work faster. It would just be noisier and likely need more power.
