I can't wait until December because my husband and I are going on our very first Royal cruise on the Freedom! It's an 8 day so also the longest cruise we've ever taken AND all port stops we'll be visiting, we've never been to! So a lot of firsts coming up for us! So super excited to experience the promenade set up. We've only cruised Norwegian and their atrium style ships. Not sure we like them because they are sooooo crowded on sea days.
What a great video. A few years ago, I sailed solo on the Allure of the Seas, then joined a dozen other cruisers to watch thousands of passengers disembark. We then simply stepped off the ship, checked in with the official, then returned. Twelve members on my family then joined me for my second cruise. Great times!
I wish it was clearer which restaurants are included and which y'all enjoy enough to pay extra for. I'm considering taking an RC cruise, and that would really help me understand what would be included for my budget.

I've done a few back to backs on Princess, and we did not have to leave ship. Customs came to us in a lounge, but your group was too large for that. Beautiful ship.
My girlfriend and i as well as some of my coworkers are going on icon in December of 2025! We cannot wait! Itll be mine and my girlfriends first ever cruise as well
i cant believe they even have chairs that can get rained on and soak up water left outside for people to sit on. they can easily get outdoor chairs that dont absorb water.
You should come over to the uk Stay. With syndicate for a week or so Then try are tui marilla cruises All inclusive as standard Everything included with flights transfers And if you do a fourteen nighter , you won't need to do all that headache Off checking out checking back in and stuff and you keep the same cabin
Awesome. I'm doing my first b2b on Independence Jan 2026. After every cruise I'm ready to get off the last couple of days but an hour or two after getting off, I want to get back on. The biggest problem I will have is, do I go hard the first week and take it easy the second one or vice versa. First world problems.
