On April 18, 2024, we received a Star Wars comic book no. 02/2024 from Blue Ocean publishing house with a Lego minifigure of Darth Maul from Clone Wars.

Darth Maul is a Dark Lord of the Sith who was the first known apprentice of Darth Sidious. As a young child, Maul came under Sidious's care during his visits to Dathomir and was secretly trained by him in the teachings of the Dark Side of the Force. Growing up in such an environment, the only emotions Maul experienced and was capable of were anger and rage. Maul used a double-ended lightsaber. In the run-up to the Battle of Naboo, Sidious sent Maul on several missions, which Maul completed in accordance with his master's wishes. In 32 BBY, during the Naboo Crisis, Maul was sent by Sidious to kill Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Their first clash took place on Tatooine, where the fugitives stopped after escaping from Naboo, but the Jedi managed to retreat. The final battle took place on Naboo during the Second Battle of Theed. During the duel, Maul kills Jinn, but makes the fatal mistake of underestimating Kenobi. Maul is defeated by the young Padawan and, cut in half, falls into a deep shaft. Kenobi and the rest of the Jedi were convinced that the Sith had died. In fact, Maul survived and continued to operate in secret, unbeknownst to even his master.
