City Councilor Wren is truly a hero. For him to get in there with his bare hands and single-handedly clean up the city is an inspiration.
Sams grip on the fence is worth a mention, too.
If you really think about it. None of the work would have been done to even an acceptable quality if Councilor Wren hadn't been there to ensure that Sector 4 put in the proper time and effort. Wren's work must have been very taxing.
It's a little bit scary how easily Wren got into the role... Never give him power please.
We laugh, but this is exactly the type of BS the media has been writing about Gavin Newsom. Dude doesn't do anything.
I read this comment and for a minute actually thought wren had gotten elected to city council...then I remembered this was la not some dinky suburb.
Tho I could totally see him being a great local politician. The energy and enthusiasm would be great.
This crew restored a corridor. It's like some kind of corridor crew. It's so much easier to complain about city government failings (which isn't unjustified at all) but their larger point is that complaining doesn't get things done. Optimism, teamwork, initiative, community... it has a snowball effect and they started it. Right on Crew!
To bad good people have to go cleaning up the biohazard remnants of some junkies failed lives. If there wasn't a way for these people to become productive members of society. Perhaps offer them free drug treatment in exchange for their trash?
There are free rehab places all over the place. The problem is rehab only works if they want to get clean. Its really sad, but sometimes people just don't want to put the effort in.
@@D33r_Hunt3r_ Look at the Dutch and see how they solved it in the 90s. Its clear that you dont have any experience with addiction nor any empathy for your own people. being clean isnt the problem, its everything that comes after. rehab programs have to include education, shelters finding a job for these people to be a part of society. Its the same with prisoners. and well we know how the US treats their slave labour.. i mean prisoners.
Even if youre a psychopath you would realize helping these people is a no brainer from an economical stand point. but i guess you have less empathy than a psychopath
@Thawne referring to all the needles they were finding...
@Thawne Ok, well maybe living like they are in a trash dump is why they can't retain housing? Like an episode of Hoarders, but in the alleyway? and yes, they did find plenty of needles, so try not to ignore the reasons that many of them are in that condition to begin with... Maybe you should be more open to other points of view instead of shooting the messenger because you don't agree with their POV. Literally they are living right next to dumpsters, but fail to be able to throw a single piece of trash in it... Must force other people do it for them... Maybe a "work for drugs and shelter" camp managed by Dr.s and social workers would work to at least keep some of them out of the alleyways and from wasting away in the streets. And to prove I'm not imagining things, and need to shut up: Most research shows that around 1/3 of people who are homeless have problems with alcohol and/or drugs, and around 2/3 of these people have lifetime histories of drug or alcohol use disorders. According to SAMHSA, 38% of homeless people abused alcohol while 26% abused other drugs.
Honestly I feel like if you guys did this consistently, took photos of Wren shaking Sams hand each time, and campaigned just a LITTLE bit, you could get either of them into city council within a year lol.
😮
Please make this a series and invite the fans to come clean up the city! So proud to be supporting amazing people like you guys!
It's a shame that event management and volunteering red tape makes this great idea impossible 😢
@@cheukho563 It's like, I get needing to regulate city maintenance for the protection of citizens. It's skid-row, there is a lot of public safety concerns around volunteering for publicworks in that area.
However, if RWANDA can come together as a nation and create a monthly holiday where everyone in the town does a little bit of cleaning, surely Angelinos can do the same.
It's not just this city, we as a nation really struggle to live clean or even present clean. Think about how amazed people are when they visit a foreign city and describe how clean it is compared to NYC, LA, etc.
Except Chicago, they actually do a good job at keeping things clean, but that is partially due to the design of the city.
@@ElliottEats yea but that is a day wasted not making money for the US economy, thats why it wont happen under the current political and economic climate.
@@Hibernathan05 the sad truth
The problem is they only needed a video for the munzzz
you guys should just announce a date and tell people to show up. I bet you would have a small army willing to clean the city. 😂 maybe you could even get some city officials in on it to get the city involved. call it the corridor cleanup project 😅 maybe make some animation videos around it and get some good promo from it at the same time.
Absolutely! Would love to see them use their large platform and ability to really get the word out.
A Corridor sponsored cleanup would be cool! Especially if they get the city in on it for extra help. Would make a good story haha
This^^^
I don’t live local but would donate to get them some PPE (personal protective equipment) and tools.
This would be awesome, they would have to be sooooo freakin careful and unfortunately would have to have people sign waivers and stuff so they couldn’t be sued if someone was accidentally hurt. That was a lot of heroin needles and those were just the ones they showed….
"if ya aint gagging, ya aint bagging"
you guys are some amazing people
That was top tier
That comment could be taken a whole different way...
broooo i started reading your comment as he said it XD. that is like the 3rd time in a month or 2 that has happened

i saw this just as he said it
This is truly dangerous. There are a crazy amount of hazards, and I commend your bravery, City Counselor Wren
We need a sitcom of the sector 4 boys. This is honestly so fun to watch! Not only did you guys deliver an entertaining video, you've also inspired a lot of people to care for their city. Much love to you guys!
Yeah. I agree.
Wren is such a saint for singlehandedly making the streets safer. He has my vote.
It's been four years since you guys fixed the path? Duuude, time flies. I love your channel
Yeah I would swear that was only like a year ago
Sucks that the city isn’t doing anything - and great that you guys helped out the community (and saved lives with that fire door access!!) and gave more incentive for it to stay clean!
Corridor really said "fine, I'll do it myself" and I'm all for it
If they organized a group through the channel they could clean a huge part of city in a day.
Im all for that mindset...but until the corrupt politicians and leaders are removed it doesn't matter at all.
It's wonderful to witness you all promote optimism. You all are amazing!
yea
yea
High five to Gavin Newsom. Great job!
yea
I live in a tiny county where we are all out in the woods and our roads and little stores are just so well maintained you just do not see trash anywhere here. So it's really shocking to me to see how bad these big cities are able to get. Really good job guys!
Gotta give Wren all the props for this incredible and outstanding hard work. He's got my vote
You are not the heroes the city wants, you are the heroes the city needs!
Why not both
I think when he said not the heros they want the government there isn't wanting it cleaned maybe it brings in funds to line there pockets has to be a reason its not been cleared already
@@ajtheanomaly9764 there was an attempt
You sound like you just learned that phrase and couldn’t wait to use it. It doesn’t even work in this case. What do you mean, the city doesn’t want cleanup crews???

The balance of ironic humor with something undeniably wholesome is perfectly done
I hope you guys continue to do this! You helped out that guy with his door and others ended up helping you. That's how movements are made!
I feel like snow shovels would've been far more effective lol. But, that's said, it's awesome that y'all did this. Everyone likes to complain about things like this, but don't want to put the effort into changing it. Keep being awesome ❤
Good to see Sector 4 back out supporting their community!
Sector 4 is alright, but it was really Councilman Wren and Union Boss Sam who did all the hard work.
A drop in the bucket.
@@markmurex6559 The biggest problem homeless will protest from being move over and over
The boys from sector 4 are the hardest working ones around
@@AwesomeBlackDude Its scientifically proven that providing housing is the best long term solution to homelessness in terms of cost to the government.
All of us in LA need to take responsibility for our community and what’s around us. We are not separate from the world and the communities surrounding us. Glad to see you guys setting such an amazing example for everyone!!
As long as CA stays voting Dems in power it'll never get better, unfortunately. Shame too so many great humans who live in LA but hey ya get what ya vote for 🤷🏾♂️
You can try to vote in an actual human being as much as you like. It doesn't matter.
It's up to the people actually out there to get stuff done. If the people of LA can throw trash everywhere, then they can clean it up.
@@hugh-jasole The people has to start voting outside of the bi-party system, if they want real change. Since with Reps it's the same but more red and conservative. But I guess people are too scared of change so they just keep voting on the same-old, same-old expecting something different to happen.
That's why you pay taxes so the local governing body cleans it which is part of their job. You are already doing your part. Sure you can go above and beyond but you shouldn't have to just because the government is corrupt.
@@jacks1083 I don't think it's the actual citizens of LA, those who pay taxes, work and pay for their property. This is done by those who came for the freebies, cool vibes and nice weather.
And drugs.
These streets bring back so much nostalgia from the old corridor videos I watched when I was young
I feel awful for people who live in LA and have to live around this filth. I'm glad to see you guys putting your effort to help.
I would honestly love for this to be a series! Y'all are amazing!
At first I thought this was going to be a visual effects cleaning up a city. But you guys actually did it for real! Kudos!
Bet they would have preferred that lol.
The benefits of practical effects
@@Kino280 smirk 🤭
it is actually
Can't wait for it to be the exact same within a week
Glad to see how versatile those boys from sector 4 are! They didn't just get their "pourin'" hours in, they got certified in sanitation work! ❤
“I hate my life. It’s like a never ending stream of trash” I felt that one, Jordan.
6:06 I haven’t laughed so hard in a corridor video in such a long time. Bags raise up!!
I used to live in LA for 32 years ...and those alleys were always my favorite because of the graffiti art and of course the crews videos but its awesome to see work like this done
As much as people will blame the homeless, it really seems like it's the businesses fault and the cities also.
@@datownkidd it's all bad honestly
@@datownkidd dont play the blame game its still bad
@@datownkidd Its the democrats... they cant run places, They only run places into the ground! Oh and the businesses are driven out by them > So yeah dont blame them.
People will blame the homeless because they don’t want to acknowledge that homelessness is a systemic problem
The fact they made a photos scan to clean as well was impressive
wren idea for sure XD
I miss these kinds of corridor crew videos where it's just the crew doing... stuff
Only Corridor Crew could make watching people clean up trash entertaining. Great work, all!
As someone who works in the waste management industry, I applaud you all for bringing this problem to the attention of your audience, and putting in the effort to be part of the solutions
For all the people hating on this video being unrelated to vfx… this channel is also about the people that make the vfx.
They mentioned throughout the whole video that they filmed so many videos in that specific location.
It’s all an ode to SECTOR 4 BOI
Yeah those folks echo the old "Shut Up and...' mantra.
Makes you realize how much work it is to clean an entire city 😮
honestly sam was the hardest working one of them all, what an inspiration
Imagine if people took the last Saturday of the month and everyone helped out to clean their little bit of the city. It would be amazing to see what we could do ❤
Or the city pays its many homeless people to do it. Normal working ppl wasting their own free time to do what the city council should be doing is just letting the city get away with it unfortunately
There are small villages overseas that do that to keep the community clean
I am very cynical, and i think if people start doing that, the city will decrease the sanitary budget. After all you are working for free.
@@Gremalkin1979 I tend to be pretty cynical too, but who knows until we try right? Plus if things start getting better it kind of forces officials to get off their asses and do something.
Imagine if our leadership would actually care about the people instead of themselves.
So, pro tip to make your next outing (if it happens) more bearable: Get everyone a set of half-mask respirators with VOC filters, and the smells won't hit you.
Honestly I didn't expect this to be so entertaining. More unique content like this pls
We honestly need more of this, please do a series!
Now I love you guys even more. Back in the day I even got bullied for participating in this.
From fixing potholes to this, sector 4 has come a long way 😢
0:55 Not coughing, just dabbing on the polluters.
Jake's comment about seeing positive action makes other people want to be a part of it was spot on! If I didn't already like and subscribe, this is one of the best reasons ever for me to do it again! Now I only have one question.... Where is the Sector 4 merch?
All the joking aside, the needles are super hazardous. Good job getting those off the streets
Agreed. I do hope though that they didn't just go in the trash bags and the team instead got a sharps container for them for them to be disposed of properly.
I would be more then willing to throw some money towards more of this. You guys could be the spark your community needs.
Love that you guys are doing such great work for the community. I would love to see a time lapse of the work next time! It's so wholesome and fulfilling
Ya'll are amazing for doing this! Making the world a cleaner and better place is something we should all try to do!
Yeah, but what does that have to do with this channel? What does that have to do with VFX? That's like making a Star Wars movie and then having it all about picking up trash in LA.
Truly amazing

Why do you think Wren is running for City Council?
I just moved to SF and we have similar problems. Instead of just sitting around and complaining about said problems this video inspired me to get active and volunteer in my community. Thanks CC!
Pretty inspiring to see this team helping out like this! Great job!
Imagine paying taxes for a city that doesnt keep itself clean.
that's the annoying part to me. Local politicians not addressing this and even going as far as making it illegal to clean it up and instead of helping the homeless situation they just make it illegal for them to be in areas.. people need to wake up there and change local and state politicians
@@shadowproductions969
But they won't. They'll keep voting for the same conmen/women who promise them the world as they Rob them blind.
Taxation is theft, it doesn't go to the community it goes to someone else's pocket
They spend a ton on it. LA's problem is a huge population of people who dump every bit of trash directly onto the streets. Not to mention public defecation.
@HappyToaster they mainly focus that money on key areas though as many areas, like the ones in this video, have sat for months or years without any cleanup. There's a bunch of things that need to be done to help the homelessness and the littering/trash problem. They could easily spend more money on it and do more too.. One of the riches cities yet also one of the most in debt
Teaching people that "cleaning" is important and also easy, specially when you trash is small, is something that all we have to bring back.
The work done by Corridor Crew seen here is inspiring and cool! My city just started a recycling campaign, it is something for the neighbours to start, and I'm happy for it.
Thanks for sharing the video! Hope to see more people Gagging and Bagging!
I did some cleaning by a local river some weeks ago and it's surprising how much a couple people and a little work hours can impact! And it's really accessible too, only takes getting the appropriate clothing (gloves and stuff that'll protect oneself) and some big trash bags and one can get going!
Highly encourage anyone to do it! It's truly wholesome
Honestly, I would love to see this continue every month. Just a solid effort all around

This one made me really emotional because yes I know how it feels and that area is lucky to have such a wonderful team that can make things happen for the well being of society. Unsung heroes...
You all go above and beyond with everything you all do. Thank you for being awesome.
I agree with everything Jordan said man, specially "Crazy what 6 people can do but the city will just ignore" and "i hate my life"
I went to LA for the first time 2 weeks ago for Rolling Loud. On my last day there, I went to the east side of LA to go see how the area around the river and corridor looks like, and even passed by the street and saw Nick pass by me on the street. I've never seen a city full of so much garbage and needles before. So much filth in the city. Like, I thought San Francisco was crazy when I went there. Regardless, I saw this character behind all of the filth that LA once had and it made me wonder how life was like here years before. Props to you guys for creating this video after I saw all of that.
