Flores is like having a second head coach who's focused on the defensive side. I thought for sure he was leaving, but we're blessed to have him again for 2024-25 season, and we go get him a serious weapon at #17.

Thank you Brian Flores and the Viking organization for making our linebackers core more solid than ever. Whether the defense will be better or worse, the fact that you guys mixed it up and brought in so many new free agent players, and drafting Dallas Turner was just icing on the cake! I hope to see a new crew out there. With the new hip drop rule I personally think the NFL is trying to make the defenses less valuable so I hope that people fight against the grain and bring back the great defenses we once had. Dallas Turner might be the next Ray Lewis.

Brian Flores has such a high IQ listening to him talk he's not just football smart he's just flat out smart and that's why his defense is so complicated for opponents and easy for the players he has the brilliance to make guys understand what he wants why he wants it and it's centered on all of his defensive players not just one.. they play as one it's crazy

He needs to find a way to get Lewis Cine and Brian Asamoah on the the field all together. Those are some extremely fast, aggressive, athletic players. Pair them with guys like ivan pace jr the defense could be insanely versatile and athletic

@@Johnhargrove18 not necessarily, he literally broke his femur 🦴 (leg) his rookie season, reports said he lost over 40lbs during rehab, dropping all the way down below 160lbs for the first time since highschool. Last year was his second year and because of the injury I think the treated him like a rookie since he basically missed his entire rookie season and clearly the Vikings have one of the better safety rooms in the league between Harrison Smith, Josh Metellus, Cam Bynum and Theo Jackson. I believe he was drafted to replace Harrison smith but no one expected Harry to take the huge pay cut to stay with the team so it pushed Lewis Cines time back imo because obviously he’s not gonna start over the legend Harrison Smith
Cene could be a beast. We like Metelous but he's kinda slow. Cene can fly and if he could play fast really make a difference
I believe that Dallas Turner will follow in the footsteps of great Vikings pass rushers Alan Page, Chris Doleman, & Jared Allen.
Just added a freak athlete who ran a 4.4 50 lbs heavier than wr who ran the same ! Speed is invaluable for defense - we are younger faster than ever and tough ! You know these players are excited to play for Flores and make plays for Twin Cities !!! SKOLLL

Barely ever draft QBs and edge rushers in the first round, no wonder they haven’t had success in the post season. KOC and Flo are changing the team. I believe in both of these guys a ton.

There are a ton of steals in this draft for linemen. They are just being overlooked by QBs and the receivers in this class. The draft board played out amazing for Minnesota.

It's BS that the NFL basically iced him out of HC interviews, but I'm tremendously grateful that the Vikings are able to have him as DC for another year.

Not surprised by his extremely high iq, defensive genius and just an incredible ability to teach. Guy comes from the greatest defensive coaching tree in NFL history! Belicheck- Parcells is second to none.

What I see is that they are putting together a very, high performance fast and strong crue on the outside and middle, with a couple guys that are more than capable. Then we know need to talk about the safeties and CB. Now, all they have to do is cover past 15 to 20 yards. Just my take, and it dont mean anything because I don't know the game that well.
6:19 interesting comparison, I’m not sure there is anyone more opposite to Dallas Turner then Dont’a Hightower imo. Versatility is probably the only similarity on the field in my eyes, but hey Dont’a was a great player so seeing some of that in Turner is quite the compliment.
