  • Do premium fuels like Shell V Power really make any difference? This video is a user review on Shell V power after doing 1000+km with this premium petrol. The Shell V power claims many benefits right from efficiency, performance and clean engine. In this video we do multiple fuel efficiency tests with Shell V power petrol and also compare it with fuel efficiency numbers from Reliance, Bharat Petroleum and Indian oil petrol. The Piston head and Spark plugs were also inspected after using Shell V power to check for deposits. The engine also went through an exhaust gas emission test while running on Shell V power which is discussed against engine running with regular fuel.

You get what you pay for!
Its not so much the octane rating but the amount of additives/detergents aswell as almost no ethanol in the fuel that i really like about Shell's V Power because no ethanol means low chance of getting rust in my fuel tanks!

If you want to see and experience super magic use my Turbofield Nano Treatment. It treats the metal and not oil .
It is good for new and old engines both
One treatment is good for 25000 kilometers minimum.
      It
Cleans polishes seals and repairs the metal surface inside of engine.
Creates hyper compression sealing of engine. More power
Reduces noise vibration harshness friction heat and and wear and tear.
Engine life extended to lakhs of kilometers with almost zero maintenance and zero pollution.
Optimum burning of fuel hence nominal formation of carbon and because metal is sealed carbon can not deposit in the engine.
No flushing no de carbon needed forever.
Vehicle becomes BS6 compliant and ready automatically.
Many cars treated at 2 Lakh kilometers with excellent results including my own car treated at 2,00,000 kilometers and now at 3,95,000 and runs better than a brand new vehicle.

Shell actually never claimed v power to increase fuel efficiency, it promises to clean carbon deposits and provide less friction in piston movements, I used to fill my Innova cysta with v power and difference was highly noticeable in terms of less vibrations on idling , less noise from engine and a smoother drive overall . Since that day I have been filling up my tank with vpower after every 2000 Km did the same when sold Innova and brought X1 recently. Difference is definitely noticeable

Awesome video! Really appreciate the time an effort put into this. One thing I noticed was a tanker filling up the in grounds at the station. Always try to avoid a station when a tanker is topping them up. Yes there is filtration systems, but it does stir up any sediment within the in ground tanks, and can possibly contaminate the fuel you are getting. Always try to fill up early mornings when the temps are lower for a more denser concentrate of fuel. Barring getting into a long scientific explanation, colder temp fuel is ideal.

I used to monitor the denisty of the diesel every time filling my tank, but at that moment, was not able to monitor the density of SHELL diesel at that particular SHELL bunk, as it was not displayed in the pump machine, which will be displayed in other bunks. Not sure becuase of this reason, i did noticed a small difference in millage with SHELL normal diesel irresepetive of good performance.

Pickup increased, noise I couldn't make any difference honestly, because earlier also there was no much noise. After running 250 kms I was literally charged with its pickup. Slingshot overtaking with absolute confidence. With ease it was touching 165 kmh. While comming back again I topped in same shell fuel station to the brim. Overall it was good.

For example in shell petrol pump, petrol pump attendant will great you with smile and after completion of filling fuel. He will show you fuel meter which is not done in other petrol pump. For this you are paying extra money. Shell is taking advantage of this which other petrol pump are not doing.

Hi Sir, first time visitor to your channel. Loved your in depth analysis of V power petro.. very crisp no non sense talk so didn't skip any ad and watched it till the end.
One query from my side.. I recently bought Tata Nexon petrol and it's my first car.. I refill petrol only at COCO outlets of IOC or BP or HP whichever is nearby at the time of refilling. Is this a good idea or do you suggest me to go for V POWER in order to maintain the engine and performance? I mostly drive within city and occasionally go for long trips.. monthly running is just 500 to 800 kms max.

    • @MrKhabbu
      @MrKhabbu Před 3 lety +1

First of all read the manufacturers recommendations. If manufacturers recommend premium or high octane petrol then go for it . Otherwise don’t.
To best of my knowledge Nexon is fine with regular or 87 octane petrol . Instead of filling at various s pumps try to stick to one when in your hometown. Always go to the same outlet and fill from the same pump number . When traveling out station stick to the same brand if possible .
Use my Turbofield Nano Treatment and extend the life of your car with super silent operation
