- Paul built a custom box truck from scratch to be his tiny home on wheels. His goal is to travel the country, with an extensive collection of tools, to find a place with friendly like-minded people. He calls his lifestyle "box therapy." Oh, and he has a jacuzzi!

This is might actually be the best roadtrip vehicle. A breakdown in the middle of nowhere probably feels like just an impromptu project when you have all the tools and equipment on board

If you find this man ‘rare’....you are staying in the wrong places....90+% of the people you bump into are ‘ok’....they will not rob you or be aggressive....
One remark that struck me in this vid...’the more people live together the lonelier you are’....EXACTLY!!!....the city life makes one feel uncomfotable with strangers....and in the city there is ONLY strangers...
I have lived and worked in many different places (I am Dutch but I lived and worked about 13 years abroad (European and African continent)
If you’ld ask me.....life outside the city is always better:people are open to foreigners and will judge you after they met you....and if you happen to be a lazy lying cheat they will spit you OUT!!
If you know your stuff and are a support to your surroundings....you’ll be embraced axs a fellow citizen!!

I always wonder how amazing our land scapes and towns cities would look if the people were allowed to build what they want instead of cookie cutter boring boxes with planning and zoning laws..

As a retired truck driver i would love to know what that rig tips the scales at. I see the single rear axle and wonder about such things.
The engineer, carpenter, electrician, pipefitter and who knows what else blessed with a tinkering hippie soul has produced an outstanding human. I might be in love at last. 😂 He is the best of the brain on fire. I know very little of anything he talked about but was mesmerized from beginning to end. LOL. Thank you for this masterclass video of another really cool guy. ❤ And with a jacuzzi that he climbs into. One of the greatest with a kind disposition. ❤

This is definitely a vehicle for a single man who grew up where and when he had. When there was more 'industrial arts' taught in school so most people could be a 'jack of all trades' without needing to go to school for a specific trade. Everything is practical but he obviously enjoys it all just the way it is. I absolutely love it. I bet he'd be great to listen to the stories of things he's seen and done.
They work really hard to sow that seed of doubt in your mind that you can't do things for yourself
If you step back and look at the bigger picture, all we have really done is put knowledge and wisdom behind a paywall system, and you're not even a functioning member of society unless you have a degree in something

I love the concept of tiny homes, but I am a collector and crafter. This video shows me something I never considered to be possible..... that's doable in a tiny package. My daughter will like this concept too. While I want a stationary tiny home, she's looking for mobility. She's an artist, and wants to travel around to fairs and festivals selling custom art. This concept could WORK for her, only with paint, canvases, and wood burning equipment instead of tools.
I'm the artist that sees a new media, gets a whole new idea, or simply a different way of how to do something & wants to start now...no THIS NOW...
LOL... I used to sell art supplies so I have a better idea than most about what's available as far as fine art supplies are concerned. Still that is just part of the pieces to the puzzle of full spectrum art possibility.
When Paul commented on wanting the sewing machine (a fancy one) I got it. I've wanted one also, but a simple one.
The truth is there are not enough hours, days, weeks, lifetimes to do all of these things. I have to prioritize what it is I really feel called to do and do them.
But a semi truck full of goodies brings a grin to my face.

I say this because at the Kenworth dealer, make sure they get your order right.
I have a 16 foot GMC box truck from 2015 it has California emissions! For sale and barter
and 106,000 original miles…🙂
The truck is in Michigan- right now I can drive it to whatever state you need it … but t hopefully not Alaska..)lol.

I am able to go where I am needed…
I can do carpentry welding or anything in between sounds like you need to do something soon….☺️
Another very cool possibility is taking a school bus and converting it into any kind of workshop from a hairdresser shop to a leatherworking shop to a tech shop to a cooking place that makes cupcakes and donuts and fritters …-

Occasionally, while loading groceries, some scold will chastise us for our extravagance.

This van gives a whole different meaning to working from home. Perhaps one of the best self built mobile home I've ever seen.

3rd - I love his place, as a welder, jewelry maker and all round crafty person it looks like a dream come true.
I truly wish him happiness, health and that he finds everything he's looking for.
Love his energy and mindset.
He lives in what most people would consider a workshop, but it's what he loves to be around.

I love trucks especially old trucks, I love all my tools, I love having "loads of stuff" on hand to fix things, he has just combined everything absolutely I love in one package. This man is actually living my dream!

Your box is a dream! I love tools and to see how you included them in your home is amazing! Have you ever thought about putting a grille guard on the front of your cab? As talented as you are you could probably build it yourself. Your engine is protected.
Yes u need to put a grill guard on..sooner or later a deer/ moose etc. will walk out in front of your home..

Jenna, thanks for this tour! What an amazing vehicle. I think my grandpa would have loved a vehicle like this! He could fix anything, but needed very few comforts. That tub is the BOMB! LOVE IT! His "garage" holds all the stuff one would need to fix literally anything! What a brilliant vehicle and what a sweet man! I wish the world was full of nice folks like him! Thanks for showing this guy and his home!

Life is not difficult, you come in the world with gifts and abilities, and you will lace this life some day, AND THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS, what you did with those gifts. I love how you use the toolboxes in fact I just told some people that if I was to ever build a kitchen or anything that needed shelves that I would use toolboxes because they're badass stuff and some of them even have an area where you can put a chopping block in the top
