Camera operator needs to move further back
Saw the one in Harrogate. Nice car but charges too slow. Nice to meet you Shane, you were extremely knowledgeable, unlike the Hyundai stand
They also should have added air scarf/massage seats as an option 🧣😂. Good in depth video!
Thanks very much. The ability to keep the price point to where they have is partially down to a simple production line, no options, no added cost. Would have been easy to make the doors a couple of grand option but I’m glad they’ve kept it simple

every shot is so zoomed in, would love the camera to be a bit further away so you can actually see something xD
Any views of what’s under the bonnet ? is the bonnet a spare storage area ?
It’s just plastic covers, I did take them off to see if there was space for a frunk but it’s all in use under there

Perhaps a silly unimportant question for many but for me essential: can music be played directly from a USB drive (stick, SSD etc)?
Yes, it can!
It needs an extra splitter at the front or center. Thats for the modders. First of a kind since the Tesla Roadster which was pretty much exclusive. Your seats high. They should have made the dash a bit higher tbh

Does the Cyberster GT suffer from vibrations around 65/70 mph when in AWD mode (like many MG4 XPowers do)?
Tempting.
Looks far to well built for a traditional MG as I used to own. So if I bought one, I'd need to buy an empty tin with a lid to put some ball bearings and nuts in it to place somewhere in the car.
Just to give it that characteristic rattle that old, _REAL_ MG's had 😲 😂🤣😅 Though I'm hard pressed to think of something for a squeaking sound 🤔🤷♂
But a good review, if the camera work was nowhere near as good as the vocals.

Each to their own. There may well be some badge delete requests but its growing on us now
@@LuscombeSuzukiLeeds Badge removal apparently isnt easy on MG4 according to forum. Might be easier to remove "Cyberster" than MG.

Unfortunately not, it was with us earlier this week but it’ll now be 6-8 weeks until our actual demonstration vehicles arrive

Shame theu have reduced the power from what was originally stated and also changed the interior colour from full red to black and red, I dont think it looks quite right especially with the black steering wheel.
Why all the changes from the ones elsewhere?
@@bournvilleman the all red wasn't wanted by joe public in UK so they specced it differently.
How about getting out the way and letting us see it, zoom out? 😂
Not sure if I could live with the steering wheel blocking the screens massively…
There’s a huge amount of adjustment in the steering wheel so I’m confident you’d find a better position
Maybe we can swap the V8 engine😂

I'm pretty sure it's priced for what the actual car is lol. Plus it's an EV.
It’s undoubtedly MGs flagship so commands a far higher price than others in the range. But just take a look at it… This could conceivably command a much higher price given the quality of the components (Bose speakers, Brembo brakes, Pirelli tyres etc)

Great looking MG but let’s get real about range, 270 miles not. You wouldn’t want to go below 10% remaining and you are asked to charge to 80% to maximise battery life so that’s 200 miles in Summer, in Winter, 160 if you are lucky. When will manufacturers tell us the truth? Almost as bad as politicians!😊
You go to 80% for speed of charging. The last 20% is usually slow. If you're not in a hurry or charging at home then you can change to 100%. There is a buffer to protect the battery so you're not really charging to 100%
Sorry , milage too short,.. Some electric bikes go further...had an origanal mgb, brill.., then bought a Boxter, which was the 🐝 knees

Supercars limited to 20mph in London stunt central. Have to go to Germany or a track to open the throttle.
Couldn’t buy it because of the rear arrow lights straight out of a cartoon.

Sadly the days of electric cars has passed no one is buying them due to the cost of replacing batteries so come back when they put a proper engine in it

You sound like some older generation grandpa or something lol Such a generalisation. Some of the best tech in the world is made by Chinese factories. Made in Britain sadly doesn't not have the same cachet or quality it once had.

Great looking car....but needs to be offered with a petrol engine, EV cars are swictly going out of fashion because people realise what a con they are. This car WILL fail , simple as that

Too bad he's not offering an objective review. How about how the AWD version handles worse than the RWD version? How about its lengthy charging times?
@@paratracker Given I’ve only had my hands on the AWD (and haven’t driven it properly), I couldn’t possibly comment. And lengthy is all relative. 140+kw isn’t going win any awards, but it’s perfectly acceptable given the volume of chargers capable of charging at more than 150kw
@@LuscombeSuzukiLeedsRight now, I'm leaning next generation Zeekr 001 FR for its 800V architecture (which improves both charging times and torque on tap), 5-door 'hatchback' practically, generally better materials, performance, & value. Sorry.
