Pitstop on Elba Island - S01E15 Sailing Helios

We have made good time on our journey to Elba Island and will have 6 nights in the well-protected anchorage of Portoferraio before we need to collect visitors from northern Corsica. We use this time to get some chores done, reprovision the boat, and collect an online order of things we need to service the engine. Simple things like this become more complex living on a boat, but we enjoy the challenge.
We have a look around the old town of Portoferraio which is famous because Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled to Elba Island before he famously escaped.

Great videos, but miss the music-it added such a unique and magical quality to your videos that none of the other sailing channels has. Enjoying following along with your journey. Considering a similar decision myself. Look forward to seeing where else your all’s travels take you!

Thank you for your comment I relly appreciate you taking the time in giving this feedback. Adding music or not is something I question all the time. I have heard negative comments about having music but personally I like it as long as it suits the video. Expect more music in future videos.
We haven regretted our decision to sell up and retire to the water.
