When I was a young male INFP, I was so conscious of how different I was from everyone I seemed to know at school, and then at work, I was very distant and hard to get close to. Now I'm older I find I can interact pretty smoothly with nearly everyone and have made a few close, trusted friends I'm able to share everything with, and I'm a very contented weirdo! 😂
We need periodic silences to think and reflect on what's going on around us.
I actually really like to be questioned and asked why I feel a certain way about something. It makes me feel like they are truly interested in my inner workings, what drives me. I might not be able to explain myself very well but I like to get a chance to try to think about it. Its very freeing to express yourself and it usually becomes a very mentally stimulating
conversation.
thats a good point, as long as its interpreted as a chance to explain more about what, and less about the "how"

I think I’d thrum with excitement if someone interested genuinely asked me, “So what are you into lately?”
Asking questions about their fav books,shows,hobbies would be useful to getting to know them.
