- Some people just seem to be effortlessly self assured. Well, there are certain things confident people do differently - and that’s what makes them stand out from the rest. That’s because self confidence isn’t anyone’s default state. High self esteem is something that requires a lot of personal development and self improvement. Yes, it takes self awareness and a lot of work to build confidence.
The good news is that anyone can work on themselves and improve their self confidence!
If you want to stop being shy and be more confident yourself, start implementing some of these habits of confident people. Also, do your best to avoid the things confident people don’t do.

In my younger years whenever I got broken-hearted, I cried and embraced the sorrow while learning fr it. Afterward, I used it as a motivation to better myself. I have always had a natural desire to better myself but the need for it was stronger every time I got disappointed or broken-hearted. Thus, I became a better person and gained more self-confidence as I aged. By bettering myself, I meant gaining education. Education in so many forms is a great way to gain self-confidence that nobody can take away fr you!
I consider myself a confident person for the most part. The reason I say it like this is because I know people have things they got to work on throughout their entire life. But what about when it’s truly someone else’s fault? Does that diminish our confidence in anyway usually not.
I do most of these things honestly, but I never knew I was a confident. Or rather, I don't feel like it. But great video nonetheless! This is the only "top 10" style channel that's actually informative and thoughtful. I appreciate the effort you put into all this :)

Im happy for you but that's the point, if ur confident u don't really care about what people say about you because you know ur worth and who you really are, and nothing others say can change it whether its negative or positive. If that's the most noteworthy thing for u, perhaps ur not "confident" for yourself, but for other people's validation/opinion on you. And that's not true confidence. Obviously I can't speak for you ofc maybe ur situation is different and you actually are confident which is good, but I'm just giving more insight that it might be a different situation.

It still feels kind of wishy washy. Like what is self aware? What does "working on yourself" mean? I'm in the process of trying to find a wife and start a family. I have ASD and am completely lost what makes me different from others. If I can't find intimacy and love, life isn't worth it to me. I need help.

Hmmm #10? Humans are social species, we are hard wired to need others, to suffer in isolation and benefit health wise from social acceptance and respect from our peers. We adapted to “need” other people. I highly doubt that even the most confident people don’t need others in their lives to be there for them, emotionally and physically.

Confidence isn't always a good thing . Confidence can lead to arrogance which is a sin .
This is truly a ridiculous comment. Anyone who chooses arrogance does it because they want to feel superior to others. That has absolutely nothing to do with confidence. And be careful, because I can see you ripping the confidence out of your children if you have any.

A confident person who is humble could never be arrogant because they don't look down on others. There is nothing wrong with being confident and everything is wrong with arrogance.
