    Thanks so much for this informative and helpful video. I'm simply a lay person trying to understand the differences between expectorants and mucolytics, after hearing my doctor use the terms interchangeably when discussing guaifenesin. Now, I understand they're not the same thing. I'm grateful for the education.

    Hi I just got accepted into a nursing program that starts in 5 months. I bought your flash cards for pharmacology. My question is each video focuses on 2-5 drugs for each class. But the flash card set has like 170. So do I memorize all 170? I’ll probably buy the Meg surge ones and try to get through them after I finish these before school starts.

    could i make a suggestion- please put the little bar at the bottom with the medication names a little bit higher because I can't see it with the red bar/ pause/play line. while it is easy to read when playing & watching the video, it makes it difficult to pause and read.
    thanks for these videos! VERY helpful :)

    I am excited to complete this journey with you! I have my Pharm CMS exam coming up in a couple weeks. Working with you, your flashcards, and ATI book. Do you have any recommendations for students with ADD on how to retain the material? What has worked best for me in the past is repetition and visual study aids.

    • @LevelUpRN
      @LevelUpRN  Před rokem +4

      Hi Katelin! I also have ADHD, and it can definitely be a struggle to retain the material. Some of my best advice for you is to spread your studying out into SMALL chunks over the entire day (like a half hour in the morning, half hour during the midday, and an hour before bed). Also, try and mix up what you're studying--our brains don't want to read a text book! So watching our videos, doing practice tests, listening to recordings of yourself reading the material, etc. will be more helpful. Furthermore, I really recommend incorporating "passive studying" into your routine. So when you're showering, driving, folding laundry, making food, etc. have something playing in the background. Even if your brain isn't 100% tuned into it, it's still hearing some important stuff! I did this both with Level Up RN videos (I just listened to them rather than watching!), and with recordings of me reading my notes. Wishing you the best of luck! --Meris for Level Up RN :)

      @@LevelUpRN thank you!!! I have been using this technique the past week and it’s been working so well! I also started using UWorld for the NextGen style questions and it’s been super helpful!! I always have my levelupRN cards next to me when I am in lecture and just constantly pulling. After I pull the concepts I study those and keep them on me everywhere!
