Trials bikes are specially made high-tech machines. Trials tyres are super soft compound, and run tyre pressures of about 4-6 psi. Very few injuries are sustained due to the low speeds and "one at a time" use of sections by moto trials competitors. Learn to ride moto trials! In Australia about one thousand riders compete, - in Europe hundreds of thousands compete regularly. Trial riders compete in all sorts of weather conditions! Trials riding must be the best kept secret in the world of motorbikes. Honda and Yamaha also manufacture modern trials bikes. Get into these trials training vids. Modern trials bikes are mostly manufactured in Europe by makes such as Gas Gas, Beta, Scorpa, Montesa and Sherco. Very light, low seat height and lots of power. Second-hand models with monoshock rear suspension and front disc brake can be bought for around $1,400 - $2,500. Competitors will ride over an obstacle course of boulders, streams, hill climbs, logs, drop offs, and nearly anything else they can find. And did you know that trials is the world's most popular participatory motorcycle sport? This introduction to trials techniques explains why trials riders are so glad they are in on the secret - we reckon you should be too! It is simply you and your bike pitted against the terrain. Trials is not racing. They are very similar to the bikes ridden by world champion riders such as Toni Bou. There are trials classes for everyone. Moto trials is the only motorcycling sport that you can compete in at "Masters Games" level! Trials (specific) bikes are specially made high-tech machines. Moto trials is a sport of balance, skill and concentration. Although new models cost around AU$8000 to $11,000, you don't need a new bike to start riding and enjoying yourself. Speed and other competitors are not factors likely to cause incidents, so the sport of trials remains very safe. Visit your local moto-trials club and chat with some trials training fanatics today. They are usually single cylinder, liquid cooled engines, around 250cc capacity. Trials bikes have lots of ground clearance and suspension travel. Hydraulic disc brakes - front and rear. Trials riders in the top classes attempt seemingly impossible obstacles, and in the process perform some of the most amazing skilled and trick riding - including air turns, bunny hops and bouncing the front and rear wheels during turns.

I concur it works, even for gumbies who started more or less serious offroad riding only at age of 29. And it's super addictive. BTW, thanks for bringing me into trials, Barry. I owe this channel for all the motivation i had.

good you mention almost all rider used to ride trials, because Wade Young didn't and still keeps wining with everybody :) I think it's more like coincidence then real thing, sure it helps but you can keep learning same techniques on light 2t enduro bike.

as per an earlier comment... these are just trials-oriented vids from the enduro channel that i never posted over on this channel. there will be about 10 of them over the next few months. this full time youtube video thing barely makes enough to feed me and keep a dirt bike running so i can't see myself affording a trials bike as well. 😥

MOTO-TRIALS TRAINING TECHNIQUES a kinda like I expected. It get’s quite expensive when you have to keep a dirt bike and a trials bike running at the same time. The how to videos were really helpful and still go back and watch them sometimes. Keep up the good work with the dirt bike though.
