Ukulele Junior World Champion "rena" introduces Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu Shrine in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan. Created this video for tourists planning to travel to Japan in the near future.
This shrine can be accessed by train from Tokyo in one hour, and is one of the most important shrines for learning Japanese history.

rena : Ukulele Junior World Champion. (currently 17 year old)
Started playing the ukulele at the age of 8 and has learned from JazzoomCafe of the Ukulele World Champion.
In 2016, she won the 1st place in the under 13 year solo category in Ukulele World Contest in Hawaii and became the Ukulele Junior World Champion.
Later, she released 2 independent CDs and performed in some countries as well as in Japan.
In 2020, performed as a Japanese ukulele performer at the NAMM SHOW in California.
in July 2022, she made her major debut from Nippon Columbia Record.
She has broken the stereotype of the ukulele, playing not only Hawaiian music, but also a wide range of genres on the ukulele, including jazz, bossa nova, rock, pop, and even anime songs.
rena is one of the hottest young ukulele players in the world today.
