- With Sparking! ZERO's release being around the corner, I decided to predict its massive roster. It was pretty challenging but super fun to do!

GT, Movies, or whatever in base roster or not, 164 characters is A TON. With every character having FIRE animations too?? And to think this game will one day have 200+ characters is just unbelievable. No matter what this roster will be very very impressive.

@@galacticmaui2 exactly what I was thinking honestly I’d prefer at this point movie character’s be dlc because if they tried to squeeze them in base roster certain movie characters would have to be cut same thing goes for GT but having them get there own dlc means you can get all the movie characters cause besides the obvious ones like OG Broly, Jenamba and Cooler there’s also a bunch more movie characters that would be nice to get like Turles, Bojack, Slug maybe even False super saiyan could get a slot if they did it that way metal cooler Pikkon and like I said same goes for GT Baby Vegeta, super 17 and Omega then the super saiyan 4’s goku Vegeta and gogeta would all be the obvious ones but then there’s the others like the other shenrons GT Goten, Trunks and Pan if they tried to put all that base roster it wouldn’t work and they would just have to cut a lot of the smaller characters but making them dlc means you can do those other characters also doing movies and GT as dlc also opens the possibility that with the character dlc they might also release more episode mode to go along with those dlc which I doubt is something that could happen if you forced them into base roster

There are discussions weather Basil and Lavender are playable since their in Bergamo’s Ultimate and I’ve noticed in every ultimate with team attacks involves characters who are playable.
Burter & Jeice, Goten & Trunks, Caulifla & Kale, Zamasu & Goku Black and now Great Saiyaman & Videl.
I didn’t think about that. the great sayiawoman was NOT in sayiman’s ultimate. They couldve used her even if she wasnt in game, but they chose to use videl. Good point

We know 18 ultimate is a solo one. But we saw the team atrack with 17 in the masters trailer. Team ultimates work like bt3 in which they show up even if the other character isn't in the squad. For example, burter did purple comet without Jeice in the demo's roster. So 17 Z ultimate must be the team attack.
Great saiyaman is now confirmed
I truly don’t see Arale, General Blue, Appule, Frieza Soldier, or much other “fluff” characters making it into the game, at least not at launch.
My top 5 on my Wishlist is Super 17, Janemba(Pretty easy to predict ngl), Vegeta Ultra Ego, Tarble and Jaco just because it would be funny... Oh, the dream would be Super Saiyan King Vegeta, it would be cool to see an What If of him defeating Freeza defending the planet.

6:57 only thing with MUI not being specifically named Mastered is that well as far as I know, "Mastered Ultra Instinct" is not the official name and it has never been called that. It's always just been "Ultra Instinct -Sign-" and "Ultra Instinct" with "Mastered/MUI" being a fan way of differenciating the forms
Fans called it Mastered because they used to refer to Sign as just 'Ultra Instinct'.
My biggest hope is that we get what if transformations... Like let it be dlc if its that big of an ask. But id love to make ssj2 future trunks for a what if scenario where trunks died and gohan couldnt save him with half a senzu bean. So he has his arm back and is ssj2 from the grief of losing a charge

I'd cut movie characters, arale and general blue (third voiced character by Sonny could be Giru in pans ultimate attack, and maybe he has lines as Giru outside of battle) to add at least a few tournament of power characters. Each universe should have at minimum 2 slots.
I feel like the 164 characters are all default characters in the game with no DLC tho
It’s also I believe stated it’s over 164 characters. Weirdly vague but there’s a chance we get closer to 180 190(it’s weird it just says more than 164)

the roster doesn't work, because you didn't put freezer (z), in the game they announced freezer (super) with its golden form, and there will also be a freezer (z) with all its forms, you can merge the freezer soldiers with skins, no need to put appule and the blue soldier in separate slots,and I think Android 18 may have a (super) version too
No matter what the roster is gonna disappoint somebody. If I don't get cooler in base roster and gotta wait like a 2 years after release to get him im gonna be so mad. Like sure cool down the line pretty much everybody can be dlc I'm not too worried about seeing alot of these questionable characters make it In EVENTUALLY, but some of them I just don't want to wait for and very much want in the base game. I'm still holding out hope for a whole movie character reveal trailer tbh. Even moreso than GT. Those z movies are some of my favorite stuff in the entire series and many of them I like more than what the main show even offers.

i absoutly dont believe that movie characters will be in and funny side chars like tamburin or yachirobi i think it will focus much more on the tournament of power univers fighters and me personally i really hope slim boo will be here he was such a cool charakter^^ (btw for me it feels totaly disgusting not having cooler and his supernova in this game) i think Modders will make this game absolutly great

Cui and Frieza soldier are definitely separate characters imo especially since Cui has a unique moveset, was Vegeta’s rival, and his first victim on Namek. appule is literally useless tho

Some people are being a bit ridiculous about the roster. I get there’s a lot of loved characters from the z movies or gt, and I get it can be annoying if they end up being dlc. But there’s still 164 fully unique characters at base, which is a fuck ton. I also feel people are kinda ridiculous if they truly thought the game wouldn’t mainly focus on super(apart from z) over gt or of dragon ball. That’s sorta like the point of this game in some ways. Listen man I hate dlc as much as the next bro but gt and og db dlc does make sense. Idk maybe I’m shilling a little cause I’m so hyped for the game, but I feel everything we got about the game has been great so far and some people are a bit to upset nova Sheron isn’t in the game
They are not fully unique and many share moves. Base Goku Z and base Goku Super are almost the same character.

The thing is, when you combine what we already know, with characters that haven't been revealed, but are definitely in the game (like buuhan and stuff), its pretty much 164. Not alot of room for gt or movie characters, mixed with the fact that vegeta ssbe has been downgraded to a 12 second power up, theres not alot to be excited about :/

Ik there’s a lot of loved characters that are form the movies and gt, and I get it sucks if they end up being dlc, but the game was clearly going to focus on super the z above gt. That’s was obvious. @@karimali9699Doesn't matter. Part of why BT games were so fun was because it included so many characters even if they were random. Part of the fun was playing as someone like General Blue and then beating the shit out of Z Broly with him.
Realistically within this roster most people aren't going to care about anything that isn't the fusions, broly, or the Z fighters, doesn't mean they should be excluded.
I doubt most people would use stuff like Raditz, Hercule or Kakunsa either, but they're still in the game.

Respectfully, some of these choices made no sense. Especially characters that will obviously be DLC or simply not even in the game. Cui? Frieza's Solider? C'mon.
Freeza soldiers are likely to be in for story mode purposes. Especially since this game has selectable specials you can fit like 10 of these guys in a single slot
Who TF Bardock gonna fight if there ain’t no Frieza Soldier? He doesn’t even box Dodoria before getting blasted away by him😂!
@toomberrebmoot9244 Yeah that's a pretty good point. Z Bardock is confirmed to be in the game so he's realistically going to be in the story at some point. No Frieza soldiers means he'd only be fighting 1st form Frieza, which limits his use in the story even more.
Plus if they're doing meme character like Hercule then why not do a Frieza soldier?
Cui has a small chance of being in since he was in earlier tenkaichi games, and Sparking Zero is doing character based storylines highlighting all the character's fights instead of a single main story. Cui might be there for Vegeta's story

Gogeta z doesn’t make sense. The one in the game is named just Gogeta not Gogeta super. Ssj2 Caba should take that spot

If there aren't a lot of GT characters I think this game will be a bit of a disappointment .. You can say what you want about GT but the character designs were much better than the character designs in Super ….
