    I think they blamed Kenya just because they don't like her. Just as soon as Kandi said that he was bothering her too, they were like "oh okay, he needed to leave then."

    Women making excuses for a man acting a fool and blaming another person speaks volumes to me they let a man dog them out and says I'm sorry and they back in love til the next time. Phaedra is a horrible lawyer the way she defends folks that she know is guilty and try to get others to agree I would not hire her for a traffic ticket.

      BEST COMMENT! You said it concisely and correctly. Thank you. People bringing in civil rights issues. This is an issue of unbalanced and domineering behaviour. One of the main issues of being a black woman is defending behaviour for sake of protecting our men from being typified, but this was not that, and it has to stop being that.

  • @ccffreak
    @ccffreak Před 8 lety +40

    Kenya was in a cry wolf situation. She started so much bullshit in the past that When she actually didn't do anything wrong, everyone wants to blame Kenya. I saw how trash Tammy was before she got push by Glen. She was on something every scene. But when Porsha opened that door. I nearly died.

      I sware I been saying this... but people lose there dam mine on my statement of her being in a cry wolf situation. Kenya alway have a motive. Known to be drama of course those people will not believe her..look at what she did to sheree,look at how she treated porsha ,and phaedra. She has a history of acting like a dam fool.

  • @OneLoveRSR
    @OneLoveRSR Před 8 lety +22

    Phaedra was saying that the terms Kenya used to describe Glen Nutjob, such as "aggressive" and "threatening" was somehow out of line. She feels as a mother to black boys, those labels are thrown around about black men way too often and it reminded her of her time in St. Louis after Michael Brown was killed. Those terms were used to describe him and she sat with the mother and blah blah blah... Kenya's not a mother so she doesn't understand the weight of those terms to describe young black men and -- Whatever. The fucker was aggressive and threatening as all hell. Phaedra reached like Elastic Girl for that.

    • @AlexisA93
      @AlexisA93 Před 8 lety +5

      +OneLoveRSR I said the same thing. I like Phaedra but she was reaching. I had a huge problem with her saying that because she did what a lot of us do in the black community, which is make excuses for all black men. Nah, he was aggressive. I didn't see the correlation between Mike Brown and Glen at all. I hope she doesn't raise her boys to think they can "turn up" on women like that and it be ok. She seem like the type who would make excuses for her son but punish her daughter for everything. That whole situation plus their reactions concerned me as a woman tbh. I hope they were just drunk and it was affecting their judgement.

      +Anth World Child bye. Yes US. I don't do it but as a whole I see the black community do it all the time. Ex: Bill Cosby and R.Kelly to name a few example. I'm not going to list every black person, which is why I used the term.

    • @FreeSpirit1111
      @FreeSpirit1111 Před 8 lety +4

      +Alexis Allen 100% agree. Outside of celebrities I have seen black women around me make excuses for men in all situations. I'm not saying that black men aren't targets because they most certainly are but that doesn't mean they get a pass to act a fucking fool, verbally and physically abuse their women and no one says anything but blame the woman. That shit makes me so sick.

    • @OneLoveRSR
      @OneLoveRSR Před 8 lety +4

      Anth World But in regards to Phaedra, Alexis Allen is telling the truth. Phaedra married Apollo. A man who is, one, a felon. Two, aggressive (attacking Brandon at the Pillow Talk and rolling up on Phaedra with a drill in the garage). Three, a career criminal (which sent him back to prison for another 8 years). I have a strong feeling that if Apollo wasn't sent to prison -- just placed on probation and still in her life, Phaedra would still be making excuses for him. And Phaedra's fans would still be making excuses for her excuses. Phaedra's tears ring, if not false then, contradictory. Part of raising a black boy to be a black man is to teach him accountability. If we don't recognize where we were wrong, we will never learn how to do right.

  • @MrFreshPrinze2010
    @MrFreshPrinze2010 Před 8 lety +5

    The problem i had with Kenya in the situation was the fact that although he was ALREADY leaving, she felt that she needed to add her 2 cents in. If she would have just shut her mouth, then i'm almost certain that this whole situation wouldn't have NEVER happened. Tammy already told them to leave so what more was it for Kenya to say? NOTHING!

    Phaedra compared Kenya to a scared white woman accusing a black man of being threaten or aggressive..... He was though. Glen had a lot of anger and addiction issues he needs to deal with on his own time. lol I think the black community has to stop insinuating this tough act we as women have to put on when faced with danger. I so agree with u about the situation not being Kenya's fault. Yeah, she thought he was cute and all, but he WAS acting crazy. Honestly, I think things would have gotten worse if he wasn't made to leave when he did. I think Kim is going way to hard on Kenya about it. Kenya is shady but that dude had to go. This is actually one episode where I saw exactly where Kenya was coming from. I mean how you gonna be at their place calling them "bitches and hoes" like that over a over again. He was getting on my nerves as I watched it .

  • @traceykersting2901
    @traceykersting2901 Před 8 lety +1

    Love the Kandi impressions. Here's why I think Kenya escalated the situation. She targeted herself by snapping at him. So right off the bat he didn't like her. After she realizes he is too weird he needs to go, she should've sat back and stfu and let someone else see him out. But she targets herself again by reminding him he needs to go and listing off reasons why. I don't know about you but when I've figured out that a dude is cray cray, I get to running and try to stay as invisible as possible.

Kim & Phaedra want to speak on provocation. After wearing a tiny bikini & twerking, had he gone & raped Porsha, would those women have blamed her for "provoking" him? Let's lay blame where it belongs & in this case it's with MTA's "nephew". I agree I think Kenya should have stepped the producers to the side and told them she felt uncomfortable with dude. Very be confrontational with a man who already displayed crazy behavior. The B word was flying out his mouth with no problem so that say a lot with how he treats females. Kenya need to stop being so blod! Every situation does not call for her to rise up and be the voice, let the producers handle him and go step back until they kicked him out!

    To me this was the typical "blame Kenya because we don't like her" type of situation. After she snapped at Glen on the boat , he just wasn't feeling her. Even after she said sorry , he just kept saying disrespectful shit and being rude all night. From what I saw the only thing Kenya did was the boat thing. The other women were just preoccupied and wasn't paying Glen much attention until it was time for him to leave. There must have been some footage we didn't see for everyone to say Kenya was being messy again.

    I agree, I don't think it was Kenyas fault, I think what she did was commendable, she didn't feel comfortable and instead of just going along to get along, she stood up for herself. Not to go deep BUT women often will ignore their own discomfort because they don't want to be rude and I'm not saying this is what happened this night but I appreciated seeing Kenya say out loud she didn't want them weird mofos in her space. I think a lot of the problems that people are having is because it was Kenya doing it and she is extremely problematic in most situations, I think if it had been Kandi or Cynthia or Phaedra or even Sheree that would have asked them to leave people would have been more sympathetic

    The fact that he got so aggressive so quick is sign that Kenya is way smarter than all of them. If everyone was so damn worried about the black man being labeled aggressive than they should have dealt with his ass but they didn't Kenya did. All she did was ask him to leave and look how quick he turned up. Can you imagine if security wasn't there? Even if MTA was his "aunt" would someone do that to a blood relation? Personal responsibility needs to be accounted for and Phadera and Sheree should shut the F up. Cynthia should feel bad, not that MTA got hurt but for bringing MTA around. That girl has issues.

Smh and I dont buy that he's her nephew either. When he came at Kandi sideways I knew it was time for him to go! Lesson to ladies doing the girlfriend trips. Don't invite men that you don't know back to where you are staying! Women get drugged,raped and gangraped this way! I know they have security but this was a very poor choice. This is the best episode so far this season. Kudos to Bravo for not dragging on the trivial shit and taking us with them. When you see crazy you leave crazy. But they brought crazy from the boat into the house and when you goggle Glen Rice jr u discover more crazy. It's easy to blame Kenya based on her shit stirring ways. Having said all that Kenya was right here. Finally, I am beginning to like Kim, she has principles and she lives by them and for a lot of people that's difficult and rare. i'm starting to think Phaedra was asked by Andy (production) to talk about Mike Brown in order to justify the fact that they let this ninja threaten people for so long ....and the situation escalated to the point where someone ended up at the hospital.
    Andy might have been afraid people would wonder why "crazy ninja" was left roaming the premises for so long , so he came up with the idea of making some of the ladies say they were never afraid of him..and he came up with the Phaedra scene. It just doesn't make sense to me otherwise.

  • @GlenDivo
    @GlenDivo Před 8 lety +1

    I understood Phaedra's comparison but I don't agree with it. Phaedra was saying that Kenya shouldn't be quick to label black men as aggressive because this labelling is the very basis upon which black bodies are gunned down.
    I disagree with her because Glen was aggressive asf. Kenya did make the situation bigger than it needed to be but Glen was crazy.

    • @GlenDivo
      @GlenDivo Před 8 lety +3

      +Anth World Cops are trained to use non-lethal force so as to de-escalate situations. So, if ur first reaction to aggressive black men is shoot them dead, then u have a race problem. Because in the context of american society, there are aggressive persons of all races, some tend to do mass shootings. But black bodies are gunned down.

    • @prissybell16
      @prissybell16 Před 8 lety

      +GlenDivo Murray no actually they're not trained that way. they are trained to de escalate certain situations. at any point they feel threatened they are supposed to defend their life by any means necessary to make it home at night.

    • @GlenDivo
      @GlenDivo Před 8 lety

      +prissybell16 Idk where you are from, and which laws where you are referring to. But the law only allows officers to use lethal force that is proportional to the fear that they have. You cannot use any means necessary, it must not be excessive force.

    I was taken aback about the Phaedra/Sheree conversation as well. It seemed out of place and unnecessary. At the end of it, it's up to the editors. I'm sure there was plenty more that didn't get added, yet that still seemed bizarre. Also, I too, was glad Kim stood her ground. Because of it I think there may be some redeeming qualities for her to stay on RHOA. Lastly, I DO believe MTA is on some smoke shit. The disappearing acts, the highness even without medicinal assistance. It's just too strange. Check your purses, ladies.

  • @sheilaburke719
    @sheilaburke719 Před 8 lety +4

    I think Kim has more snap than ppl are giving her credit for and I'm liking her more lately as the new addition.. For one thing her grown Motherly vibe is stealing from the image of what Kenya wanted to portray for herself this season "head huncho queen b", she just doesnt have the spotlight or run of the mill like she expected now tha NeNe is gone, with Kim calling her out and challenging her to be a real grown up everytime she turns around. Kenya is being checked and chastised by kim subtly and assertively, like no one else has been doing, and its so refreshing. I'm loving it because its disarming to kenya that its Kim of all ppl bringing the heat and she didnt want any beef with Kim, so she never returns the fire, its awesome...she only does so in her confessionals, but not in kims face...so if this is what Kim brings to the show then I'm all for it, even if I have to put up with seeing her in granny gowns and dandelion hair, lol. I also saw a glimpse of Chip Fields in her eyes last night and was like oh yeah, Kenya might need to not underestimate Kim, she has her mother in her, this could be interesting. I'm loving watching Kim Fields handling Kenya Moore. I would love if if her mom Chip did make an appearance.
