The Soft Pink Truth is Drew Daniel, one half of acclaimed electronic duo Matmos, Shakespearean scholar and a celebrated producer and sound artist. Daniel started the project as an outlet to explore visceral and sublime sounds that fall outside of Matmos’ purview, drawing on his vast knowledge of rave, black metal and crust punk obscurities while subverting and critiquing established genre expectations. On the new album Shall We Go On Sinning So That Grace May Increase? Daniel takes a bold and surprising new direction, exploring an ecstatic space somewhere between deep dance music and classical minimalism as a means of psychic healing.
The video for "We", featuring visuals by Daniel's collaborator in Matmos and partner in life MC Schmidt as well as Sue-C, supplements the track's sublime textures and minimal rhythms with kaleidoscopic, hypnotic visuals, taking you deeper inside the trip.

TWERK ANTHEM
jesus! i love soft pink truth, what a comeback!
the late-90s deep house sound a la luomo is something that needs to be brought back asap. this is proof why
I missed that Era, I was a teenager listening to punk, I discovered Eelf Records, a CZcams Channel, that made me like the genre. Récent stuff but you may like it. I still lack knowledge of early 'real' stuff.
Loving this album.
This album should be used to treat PTSD
Wow
Love this song.
Absolutely gorgeous track from a really intriguing LP (NOTE. it's a bit more eclectic than this track suggests!)
This is amazing, any recs? Appart from Luomo
