she basically says the same thing with "I know I have it easier then you" in the show. But given the context of the scene where she feels trapped and doesn't want to be a hulk she was angry. And due to her frustration while saying that she can control herself better the internet took that as Marvel saying She-Hulk fucking hates Banner and is better than him at everything. Those who wanted to understand...did. Those who were hating before the first episode even aired...didn't. I do think however that there should've been a scene with her apologizing or correcting her statement to Banner and maybe saying thank you. Actually scratch that i think she does say thank you or something of that sort but its over the phone.

Rainbow Rowell has done a bang up job with this She hulk run she actually understands what drew people to Jen in the first place and what made people like her and she's not trying to pull a Jason Aaron and make her a complete copy of her cousin (still convinced he wanted to use Bruce for that avengers team but couldn't due to Al Ewing writing immortal hulk so he just took jen and made her more like her cousin). The line that especially stood out to me though was when Jen says she knows Bruce and Hulk have had it way harder than her which is such a breath of fresh air compared to how Aaron butchered her character in that awful one shot where she says when bruce told her he was jealous of her she wanted to punch him thank god Jason Aaron isn't writing Jen now
I mean, she's been saying that Bruce has had it tougher than her since the 90s. There was a comic published in 2000 where she basically said "I've had it tough, but I can't imagine what Bruce went through"

It would take her a lot longer. Same is true she could run or walk. She just isn't quite as powerful. I think it's always been accepted that since she was given gamma irradiated blood and not caught in the bomb blast her gamma levels are weaker and therefore her powers are not as strong. I think a similar transfusion is what created Doc Samson and is why he has green hair, super strength, and durability just not on the levels as the Hulk

When comparing this one little moment to the whole She Hulk, I keep asking myself, "How did they missed all the marks?" Sometimes, it just feels like the MCU are purposely making some of their characters bad

@@guerillla6 In this comic, Hulk acts more like another personality, the aggressive one created to ultimately protect, but tries to push friendly people away, when deep down, they want or need that ‘friend’. Which is interesting because the Hulk has been written as the manifestation of Bruce’s trauma.

I think this is a new persona this definitely isn't the usual childlike savage hulk if it was savage hulk would have been really happy when Jen said they were family and she would invite him to her future wedding. Savage has historically been the main persona we see but in recent years he's taken more of a back seat role to other personas like devil hulk, green scar, titan and this persona

This is why I roll my eyes at everyone saying the She Hulk show was "unrealistic". Like, it's canonical in the source comic that she always had full control over her Hulk form, from the very beginning.

Personally if Marvel do some spring cleaning with certain forbidden relationships,Rogue and Gambit being among those,Marvel could make enough money to build their own theme parks instead of merging with Disney! She deserves far better, now in a what if story Rogue married Captain America, now had the main 616 followed that, Marvel could've, and still have the chance to top DC's most iconic power couples, including the big one, Superman and Wonder Woman!
@@christopherbyrdakaSuperman that’s not a “forbidden relationship” that’s just you not liking the character she’s with also they don’t always adapt the gambit relationship. of the last 4 rogue adapts the gambit relationship is only in the most recent being 97’ and the reason it’s in a what if is cause in canon that relationship would make no sense there’s no reason they’d get together in the first place, they’re from wildly different sides of the marvel universe

Marvel can create a much more diverse universe, captain America isn't just for a certain group anymore. It used to be that you had to be a Caucasian and blonde to represent Captain America, then Marvel had to scrap that. It didn't look good saying that, Marvel needed to appeal to all fans Avengers and X-Men alike! That's why they did that what if story to see if all fans can open themselves to except something other than status quo and it helped me see something the comics industry is supposed to do, unite everyone, comics fans or otherwise. Non comics fans started to see why so many followed comics and Marvel especially. Think of it Captain America and Rogue are American, but on one side one is hated wronfully because of a genetic ability that in Rogue's case she has to practice controlling this power, if it wasn't for this genetic element not being in control, she could easily have physical intimacy with anyone, Captain America, the image of heroes most humans see as their representative, mostly out of prejudice, both really love each other, but prejudice causes a rift, they're both Avengers, both agree with Charles Xaviers approach of co-exsitence and peace, Captain America has no shady past, as a iconic couple they can lead both teams to work together, it would bring all the teams together against Orchis and other hate orginazations both heroes are in the 616 continuity and the main universe is the one that flagships all the other realities, verses,ect! I can come up with many reciepts, but I'll be here all day, so I cut it short, Captain America, Rogue, both can lead the Avengers or X-men interchangebly, It'll sell big, Rogue rather be Mrs. Rodgers, Gambit is just a stick to only mutants thing and that is divisive. We have to do some things, yes some toes will be stepped on because those people are bigots and noone should care! If we want to get better, and right now Marvel needs a miracle to gat readers back interested, try this what if,only now it's in the 616 universe, Gambit will get his feelings hurt, but it happens in comics and besides he'll find his real love Belladonna! They destroyed Peter Parker's marriage and unlike Gambit, I actually loved and still do love Spider-man, but somebody wanted change and got it! Rogue will find happiness in being co-leader in the Avengers and have a husband just like her, all American, but both share a policy to recruit more different races of beings to the team and she can't just exclusively be with the x-men all the time! She is very thankful for Professor Xavier taking her in to the x-men and now she can spead his dream further by joining teams outside the mutant community bringing that peaceful dream closer to reality, she explained that to Mystique when she joined the x-men, she'll explain it to Gambit along with many of his shadyness and she can't continue allowing herself to trust in him doing these things, so she's going to move forward, it'll hurt, but heroes have to be heroes, they have a public image! Professor Xavier or Cyclopse or one of the x-men will further explain to Gambit, Ihope it's Wolverine that the day Rogue joined the team and promised to not ever harm others and to not let the professor down, she really meant it genuinely and leaving the x-men not out of just leaving, but taking the professors dream to the next level is the best move all the others can do, of course Rogue will always assist the x-men when Charles need her to, she'll always be a x-men and Captain America is welcome to assist them, but now Marvel needs to make Rogue the mutant icon she's destined to be! This is supossed to happen, Rogue is overdue in gaining her true popularity!

Complex transformations require him to turn into something with higher brain function first to figure it out.
But, he figured out how to replicate Starro. He could probably replicate the Hulk, but he wouldn't be as strong.

well there is a run where that happens its never really established if its consensual or not but that hulk is pure evil from abosorbing nuclear radiation.
Hulk didn't have to carry She-Hulk since they have they same magnitude of strength, including leaping.
It was easier for him to carry her as with jumping you can't course-correct mid jump. That and it gave him an excuse to hold her without coming off needy, IMO.
