Great Horned Owlets

This is from a few years ago in Wisconsin. The owlets seemed so curious, the parent didn't seem to care that I was there.

I never found any other nests this spring. The Barred Owl nest at Picnic Point. But nothing like this experience. Good to run into you a few days ago!

This was a poor spring for owls for me. I saw one once. A Barred owlet. Did you have any luck?

@@CynthiaCarlsonPhotography Haven't seen any, hearing lots of our common Tawny owl and a barn owl. Hopefully things will liven up now that the rain has stopped.
