I totally agree but haven't you ever seen the backlash from "fans" of famous people who say they should shut their mouths and stick to their jobs as actors, entertainers, athletes, etc. And treat them like they're not actually people who have every right to have opinions on politics and social issues? It's such hypocrisy because we live in a democracy where everyone has an opinion, and yes some people with a platform leverage it to bring awareness to things. It's not wrong. It's brave. As long as they're not also contributing to the disparity and capitalistic exploitation, which to be fair, many are.

You know, not too long ago, actual plastic surgeons have spoken out about fillers and said that they don't just dissolve after 6 months but that they migrate so that it looks like they dissolved, while actually still being there. That's probably also the reason why a lot of celebrities who have gotten fillers in their face for a long time look weird in a sense. Some people have gotten fillers one time and it was still there after 10 years, for others the process of it dissolving is faster. Please be careful about getting them again, ily Blair. 😊
When I moved to LA after I turned 18 I actually moved in with a homeless person who was living in his van. I got to experience the contrast because he did a lot of service jobs for wealthy people and at one point I had to live in a halfway house and pan handle and had a lot of scary experiences living on the streets. I felt that there were a lot of people who were really okay with taking advantage of me and there was a lot of toxic people I interacted with. I hope it’s changed a bit since then but I have no desire to live there anymore lol

this video was very interesting, i've always been so intrigued on Hollywood and how pretty much everything is for the person's brand, i figured this translated into influencer "culture" but wow also i've watched videos saying that lip filler, or at least some brands of it last longer than they say it does and that's what can cause the "duck lips" is getting another round of filler too soon (even though the doctor recommended it) and then it gets pushed up to above your lip

I feel the struggle with homelessness. I’m in Portland and live on a small street, and there’s a culdesac (sp?) next to us with a small camp. People who visit us mention “do you feel safe?” “I could never live here”, but really they cause no problems at all! Just a shitty situation for them, and it’s a nice little family. They’re people too ❤️

I have to get back to doing videos on both of my channels. I was working so hard to build up both channels, and then mental health issues happened. Dealing with those took a while and there were some really scary days when I wasn't sure I would come out the other side. I started my channel to share the stuff that I love and work on being healthier. But, the idea of being able to have a job that I could work from home that could potentially create enough income so I could help my sick mom, makes influencing very attractive. I just have to get back to it.
