In awe at what Farag did in this match. He would have been fasting for at least 12 hours by the time they reached the nail biting ending of the 3rd set. Unfortunately the break after that did not reach the break fast time of 6.13pm so he had to continue with a total glucose and water deplete body for the 4th set. It is almost a health hazard to play in those conditions but of course it is totally his choice to make. Coll is probably within the top 3 fittest players in the world. Incredible game, kudos to both players though, it was very watchable and a joy.
Who cares ? His religeous habits are voluntary and his personal choice. Non muslim players have personal life problems, like everyone does, but you don't hear them making excuses.

That's not what it's about. The poor don't get to have a pass for one day either
Imams have no control over such a matter. It's a straight connection between God and individuals. Farag is allowed to not fast but he choose to fast
But you are allowed to reschedule your fast if you’re travelling, so why not do that?
@@DirtyOatmilk he's used to playing while fasting. He won the British open for the first time while fasting. Shorbagy brothers usually don't fast. It's up to the individual whether they want to make up the fast later or continue the fast.
