Cute result! Curious, I'm seriously allergic to glue spray - I used it once and it closed up my throat! what alternative glue that will make the paper stick on the sides?
You could definitely use mod podge. It would result in more wrinkles but if you you’re going for old looking books, it wouldn’t matter so much. You could also skip using the tissue paper and just use some antiquing wax to age the white paper.
