I did this for a while but got tired of doing it and cut the green wire anyway. You can still use eco mode which softens the throttle and reduces speed to 30mph if you want.

Well, not that I really regret cutting the green wire because I like being able to just turn my baby on and go but this definitely should be out there more as I potentially would have considered this instead of cutting the wire, but it is what it is at the end of the day when you get one of these we all know the only thing we’re going to do to it is upgrade it lol.

It unlocks the sport mode speed limiter so you can have the full stock power of the bike without cutting the internal wire that governs the controller. My sensors have never been active even though they’re technically installed.. it works the same with the kickstand. Unless you removed that sensor too.
Are you turning your bike off afterwards? It resets to stock settings when you turn the key off. You can also use the kickstand with the same sequence instead of the front brake lever. 💯🤙🏻

You can also use your kickstand in the same pattern instead of the front brake lever.. also don’t turn bike off after unlocking as that will reset back to your previous settings. (Governed and set regen level)

My 2023 Surron stayed unlocked after several key cycles.
Your just turning off the regen has nothing to do with the speed limiter
Incorrect. To adjust regen would be the sequences they give you with the dongle provided, which you don’t need. This sequence unlocks the bike.
