    This is definitely going to be the next ball in my bag

    I'm just astounded by how straight Mccowin is able to play, with what seems like everything. Me as a twohander with less revs than him can´t keep even the DV8 Creed on line outside of the fourth arrow on 42 feet.

    this ball looks super similar to the alpha Crux. shape wise and color wise.

    I think this ball will do great on tourney wet dry short shots. Very situational ball

    Tony looks good as a lefty

    I watched this and in the shop center below the video showed the rose ball from the movie kingpin..... why did this happen to me

    I think this might work great in a 38 foot sports shot like cheetah where you have to get out to tha 5 board

    I haven't bowled in 40 years and finally made it back without my old and lost LT-48 Brunswick. Can anyone answer if the Kingpin would be comparable? The LT-48 got me close to a 300 game one night in leagues. I threw a moderate right hook with it. If the Kingpin would be a good choice I'm buying one very soon. The Rotogrip Hot Cell was another possibility.
    Thanks for the video

      Hi there! The Kingpin is going to be significantly stronger than the LT-48. It being a asymmetric, solid reactive ball meant for heavier lane conditions means a lot more movement than what you saw with your LT-48. If you want something closer to your LT-48, reaction-wise, take a look at the Brunswick Cutting Edge Solid :)

      @@bowlingballcom Thanks for the great info! I really wasn't sure what the Kingpin would be like. I might consider getting one anyways. I could adapt to a new kind of throwing style, but also need to check what the lane conditions are where I will be bowling. Long ago, a pro showed me how to throw a hook and suggested the LT-48, and it took some getting used to but wasn't difficult to learn it's mannerisms. I of course don't want to use a ball like the Kingpin if it isn't fit for that bowling lane. Thanks again!

    How does this compare to the mastermind Strategy? Looking for something with a tad more hook than my strategy

    • @bowlingballcom
      @bowlingballcom  Před 6 lety +1

      Hi Jesse! The Kingpin will have slightly more hook than your Mastermind Strategy. Overall, it will roll a bit earlier and keep on trucking to the pocket. Definitely great on the heavier oil too!

    Still don’t understand why you guys feel the need to inflate your averages...here’s the actual averages of the bowlers at time of video:
    Tony - 203
    Mike - 211
    Curlie - 181
    Cody - 217
    Try not to lie to the consumer, it’s not a good look for your business...👍🏻

    How does this compare to the Track mako? I’m really disappointed with mine and I’m looking to replace it. I was thinking sure lock because I wasn’t (and still not) a big fan of Track and so I want to move back towards Storm/Rotogrip. Now seeing this ball, it looks pretty promising and very aggressive. Looks to be a great ball to start off with in tournament play. I’m a collegiate bowler and bought my mako because I needed a new, aggressive, solid piece, but I’m very disappointed with the results. I have a Roto grip eternal cell and that ball shreds the lane, absolutely love it, but it reads the Lane too late to initially start off with it in heavy, fresh oil conditions. So, in the end, how does the mako compare to this and a sure lock? I’m still leaning toward a sure lock, but I am intrigued by this ball.

      Hello! The Kingpin is going to hook just slightly less than both the Mako and Sure Lock. But only slightly. Kingpin is also made for the heavier oil but really retains a lot of energy for the backend making it a hook monster! The Sure Lock will have more of a mid-lane read than the Kingpin but equally as strong. It would be a tough choice between the two but they should both suit you nicely!

    How does this compare to No Rules Exist and Alpha Crux?

    • @bowlingballcom
      @bowlingballcom  Před 6 lety

      The Kingpin will roll earlier than the No Rules Exist and Alpha Crux. All three are comparable in hook capability.

    How does kingpin compare to the No Rules

    • @bowlingballcom
      @bowlingballcom  Před 6 lety

      Both the Kingpin and No Rules are going to have the same hook potential. The No Rules will go just a tad bit longer than the Kingpin though. Both are heavy hooking bowling balls!

    how would this ball perform next to the C300 Lit?

    • @bowlingballcom
      @bowlingballcom  Před 6 lety

      The Kingpin and the Lit would actually be very similar. Both will have an overall aggressive hook and be able to handle the heavier conditions.

    Looks like it's got a nice smooth motion, something that Brunswick has done really well with from what I've seen.
    What do you think, good benchmark ball?

    • @Steve.Orland
      @Steve.Orland Před 6 lety

      Demon of Razgriz this seems way too strong for a benchmark imo

    • @bowlingballcom
      @bowlingballcom  Před 6 lety

      The Kingpin will be a bit strong for a typical benchmark ball. It is a smooth ball but certainly packs a punch :)
