This is because in the thumbnail you can not see much of my roots. My roots are the part that still looked a bit yellow and the pink did not take well to that part. Overall I know this video could've been made much better.
All hair dye was purchased at Sally's Beauty Supply and was mixed with Suave Professionals almond + shea butter condition
Pink hair dye: Argon Oil hair color

It’s not fake. it just happened that when I braided my hair like this, it was easier to see the parts where the color took to my hair better. It’s only the roots of my hair that turned out shitty because I didn’t bleach them enough
Your roots did that because they weren't light enough. The gold tone in it collided with the color you put on, you would have to lighten it. But it is a super cute idea!

Conditioner dilutes the color to make it lighter.

I did! My hair was already bleached and toned so it was light enough to put colors on top of it.

Why even make a “how to” video when no one can even understand what it is that you are doing?? Kinda makes this video useless to watch. Maybe next time try explaining what you are doing step by step.. Esp on a colored hair tutorial.. Other then the video lacking all that, I’d say yr hair turned out very pretty in my opinion.
