Meh it's odd he was the only one when I got back to ft hood most of the single soldiers didn't have family there. Everyone knew we'd be coming home in 2 weeks for block leave anyway so everyone told our families not to come and we just all got drunk in the barracks for 8 days straight. You get a 4 day when you come back and ours ran into another 4 day by regulation you had to show up for a duty day between them so we had formation at 1pm on the 5th day, everyone was hammered including the commander. Formation went like
      1SG: fall in
      Commander and 1SG switch spots
Commander: hey everyone's here cool. 1SG take charge of the company
      They switch spots again
      Dismissed
Idk why they wouldn't have don't the same thing tbh they wouldn't have let anyone walk 2 miles alone either

I don't really have much a family because I disowned a lot of toxic people outta my life and have no regrets. You can't pick which family you're born into.

Hmmmmm, it wasn't just a feeling he seen his army family go back to their civilian families and that he had nobody, that is lonely and not acting lonely
