Despite the audio/visual imperfections (including two bars cut at the start), this has to stand as the "definitive" Bright Yellow Gun. Because... so far as I can make out this is the only version of the song on CZcams where Kristin plays that memorable lead guitar part* at the end. All the other versions end on an over-extended two-chord drone. (* it's a "part" not a "solo" = composed, not improvised)

This is great. But I think I prefer the version from The Word, with the live cello and the bass solo at the end

I would agree with you completely, but then I saw this song performed on the Word (it's on youtube), and just cringed with embaressement.
Damn where was this filmed? Whole setting looks just awkward.. it looks like some castle of sacrifice.
