    CORRECTION: The US version has a 350w rear-hub motor, not a 250w similar to the EU version.

      Why is the battery percentage not shown numerically on the display screen? I have seen other videos of this e-bike, where you can see the percentage of the battery in numbers.

      You did say 350... 🤔
      We won't get into technical, but it is most likely a 48 volt 350 watt motor running on 36 volts...

      Yeah unfortunately here in Europe we have to deal with all the regulation knobs killing our fun.

      correction our MSRP is $1,599.00. Thank you for your feedback on our Blaupunkt electrical bicycle. We want to clarify that our pricing reflects the use of high-quality components, including UL-rated motors, controllers, and LG lithium-ion cells. Our bikes are UL 2849 certified for complete eBike safety, not just battery UL 2271 certified. While this does increase the cost, it ensures superior performance and safety compared to many Class 2 folders priced below $1,000. We appreciate your understanding of the importance of safety and quality in our products.

    The Blaupunkt Fiene is NOT worth the money. At most, it should cost $499 because of the small 378 watt hours battery that you will find in several electric bikes under $500. No one will buy that electric bike unless it goes on a 75% discount or even better a 90% off discount.

    • @warrenshapiro1
      @warrenshapiro1 Před rokem

      I don't know if anything is "worth it" these days but I test rode this bike and it was significantly smoother to ride than the less expensive models. Is it worth it? That's subjective. You can certainly get an ebike for less.

    I purchased this bike this from a local shop, put 10 miles on it and returned it. Definitely agree with the comments below this bike is severely over-priced for what you get. At the time of purchase I paid $2099 (U.S.) plus tax. Terrible build design, the exposed cables at the bottom of the bike led to damage of an electrical wire when folding as the left pedal cut into the wire because it wasn't in the perfect position. It only has 6 gears - I went down to 4 at the steepest incline, gears 1-3 were useless and there was a lot of ghost pedaling. 3) frame/components feel and look cheap, I literally felt every single bump of the pavement, extremely stiff with no give. 4) the "throttle" you have to yank all the way to get any assist 5) weak rear hub motor in comparison to other bikes I test rode after I returned it - In summary Blaupunkt should stick to making speakers and not bicycles.

      We sincerely apologize for the bad user experience you had with our Blaupunkt electrical bicycle, and we appreciate your feedback. At Blaupunkt, we are committed to continuously improving our products to better serve our customers.
      Regarding your concerns, we want to clarify that we have carefully selected our components to meet the highest standards, including UL 2849 compliance. While using UL-rated motors, batteries, and controllers is essential for safety, it can impact torque performance, and we acknowledge that there are trade-offs in this regard.
      Our eBikes are equipped with premium features, such as Shimano shifter and gears, as well as hydraulic disc brakes, which provide superior stopping power compared to cheaper mechanical brakes. The frame's design utilizes lightweight magnesium alloy, making it one of the lightest on the market, as you observed, with a weight of only 47lbs, including the 8lb battery.
      We want to extend our sincere apologies for the electrical wire issue you encountered. You are absolutely correct that this was a production oversight, and we have since taken corrective measures to ensure such issues do not happen again.
      Your feedback is invaluable to us, and it helps us enhance our products to meet the expectations of our customers. We appreciate your input and hope that you'll consider us in the future as we continue to improve our eBikes. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns.

    That bike goes under at least 10 different brand names... Onebot, Energiz, Flo, Life, Hikari, Ducati... and now Blaupunkt. Check the actual motor please? Is it a 250 or 350 watt? And the battery, is it a 7 or 10 mAh? These bikes did go for $700 US, so you are not a very honest salesperson, certainly not an unbiased reviewer 👋

    • @electrifiedreviews
      @electrifiedreviews  Před 10 měsíci

      Hey there! Not a salesperson, just an unbiased reviewer. All I can report is what's on the website and what is communicated to me by the brand, adding in my personal riding experience. I'm sure the bike frame might have been used by many companies, or similar ones, but from what I understand Blaupunkt teamed up with BMW to design and make these frames. Thanks for stopping by!

    • @andykerr3803

      @@electrifiedreviews Absolutely not! Neither Blaupunkt nor Ducati had anything to do with the design... Which is troubling, because the local Ducati has 3 ebikes and never heard of this one. Watch them all do a disappearing act as soon as there is a serious issue. Not funny at all. I would actually buy one and take a chance, but at $700 US or $900 Cdn, that is what they do go for. Yes, fly by night sellers stealing brand names push them at $2500, then disappear. Imagine buying two of them and needing parts... And they will need parts. You are actually quite honest compared to most of the "reviewers" receiving free bikes in exchange for bogus praise. You should not repeat their stories as fact.
      Cheers 🍻

      PS To be 100% clear, it is not just the frame that is identical on these bikes ranging from 700 US to 2500 Cdn. Except for downgrading the battery and brakes, they are identical. "Understanding" is no excuse, you are conveying false statements. I suggest you verify the actual identities of people you deal with... You may find they don't even exist, like 'Nigel Hutton' at Ducati... You're setting people up for real disappointment. The batteries alone show up DOA, because it's been years, and why do you think they went back to hydraulic brakes? You are supposed to have expertise and authority... You're not a salesman? Then what do you get in return? Did you actually buy one?

      Thank you for your feedback. While our Blaupunkt electrical bicycle shares the magnesium alloy single die-cast frame with other brands, the similarities end there. Blaupunkt eBikes are equipped with superior components, including our Blaupunkt rear-hub motor, hydraulic disc brakes, LG cells, and more, resulting in a higher ride performance and overall quality. Please note that the brands you mentioned are only available outside the USA, using our frame. We appreciate your understanding of the distinctions in our product's quality.
