I dont understand how everybody gets such clean edges using the tape! When Im using tape there always gets some paint under it, which makes my painting look unclean after pulling it off. But looking at this video and others, I think I dont do anything different. Is there a special kind of tape? If you read this, any advice would be amazing! 🙏😊
twingirl1234 hi twin, I like tape lines as well like you do, do you think maybe what will really help keep paint from bleeding under the tape is to start with maybe two coats or three coats of gesso on the entire canvass? I’m going to try it. It seems like it’s the canvass texture that keeps the tape from making a good seal thus allowing the paint to bleed. Your thoughts?
Just do any type of masking tape but make sure you put it on your clothes a lot before putting it on paper if that’s what your using. It will rip the paper

The outcome was amazing but it wasn’t creative like it was easy pasting tape and then just putting paint. I don’t wanna be mean but the colors were nice love gold and silver.

It's basically masking tape you can also go to AC Moore or Michaels or any craft place and pick up artist tape or just use regular masking tape

I used 10x10, but it’s your choice, it can work on any size, just add more triangles. 🙂
