That was hilarious. Christian really took them for a ride. At any other time, i would have found that unethical, but I strongly suspect Jubilee would have intervened if he was about to do anything unsafe.

yall acting like the fraud (if he had really been the fraud) can't use a tattoo gun. i've seen tattoo artists allow customers to do small tattoos on their friends. obviously the person getting the tattoo knew the risk she was taking and was willing to potentially get a tattoo from an amateur or fraud if they hadn't ended up choosing the expert. so no i don't think jubilee would've stepped in if he wasn't really the expert. i think they would've allowed the amateur or fraud to go ahead and go through with the tattoo

I think it just came out the wrong way.
not only that but also just common sense: you can't tattoo your own hands because you need both of them to work, 1 to hold the machine, 1 to pull the skin. only one way is making a hand poke but that's hella specific so you would have mentioned it... also anyone out there still working on coils? they are so heavy

As an aspiring tattoo artist, I immediately thought that Xyla was the amateur at the start. Especially when she showed the supplies that she had brought with her. Her experienced mentor probably gave that to her to get a better understanding of tattooing.

More often than not, a professional will want another professional to service them. Not only for the quality of work but for the experience to relax and enjoy being looked after with the service.
well that may be true for girls but guys would rather do it themselves I cut my own hair and I've never done hair school. also my brother works at a tobacco distributor place and recently bought a nice pair of trimmers and he's been doing his and all our family n friends and it looks better than store cut. only for guys tho

A lot of tattoo artist donât tattoo themselves, because itâs hard to get the right angles when you donât have that top down view, so mostly they get others to do it, maybe theyâll sketch their own designs but thatâs mostly it

Honestly, it's nerve wracking to know that both Alyssa and Motoki go into these situations blind, like they don't know much about whatever the subject is, but it also makes for an entertaining episode! PS: My sister has gotten tattoos before, but I could never see myself getting them personally.

TBH, I got them all right. Tiffany coming in with a "lazy" tattoo device, especially stencils, was a clear indication that she didn't really know what she was doing. Sadly, the person who did the outline of my tattoo not only had to use stencils, but got the depth of the ink wrong, resulting in it fading badly in a year. Xyla knew enough about the old-school machines (which is what was used for my full-back tattoo) and such that I felt confident that she wasn't a fraud, and I can't imagine anyone but the boldest/stupidest fraud coming in with that device. Although Christian came in with a device I'm not familiar with, there was enough that wasn't cut from the video that I had a very strong feeling that he was the expert. I loved how he acted nervous at the end just to mess with them! ;)
I would never get a tattoo without a stencil. I need to see how the whole thing sits before it's on me permanently, and I want the artist to stick to the exact design we agreed on which a stencil guarantees. Seems responsible to me, not lazy.
@@slangoognals Absolutely. Getting a tattoo without a stencil is a huge risk, you'd better hope your artist is a veteran.
For me Tiffany having fresh tats on both arms put her as the fraud. No artist is going tat themselves with their off hand.

My first thought was face tattoo. Obviously there are jobs that will hire people with face tattoos but itâs a guarantee that a tattoo shop would be ok with them. Everything else, Iâm like⊠ehhh canât be certain with those questions/answers. I would have asked certain questions or art concepts to help break them up between artist vs fraud.

6:30. The only problem with that is that every time I ever hear someone speak negatively itâs by putting negative words in someone elseâs mouth. I find it very rare that people still actually consider tattoos âtabooâ by their own self admission. I donât think people realize how much culture has already shifted and thatâs itâs not really taboo in the general westernized society now. (Note I said westernized)

The sheen is from saniderm, itâs put over the top of fresh tattoos to help with healing. She says at the end of the video that theyâre new tattoos
