Sometimes we don't get videos for months and there r these days like today when we get a treat of 2 videos in a day.
Thanks Mike, The DetroitBORG.
The legend’s back!💙💯💯
Your my favorite CZcamsr I have been watching you since 2 years I love your vid keep up the good work ❤️❤️
you are the best reviewer on CZcams
These look really cool! Thanks for putting these on my radar!
2 videos in 1 day!?
Must be Christmas already
I'm hoping Yeelight makes a budget version. Their lightstrip & smart bulbs are amazing
The best reviewer on youtube ♥
I wanna cover my whole ceiling with these.
Everyone does lol
@@joywriting I dunno, I don't think everyone wants to cover his whole ceiling with them... maybe a few do. Oo
you got $10k?
That would be totally tubular!
Instablaster
No review is better than detroitborg's review..❤❤❤
two videos in one day is this great!
Outstanding review! Thank you. I will be purchasing a few of these packages tomorrow! :)
This is pretty cool, thanks for sharing Mike
Will you narrate my life, Mike?
😂
I agree, love your voice.
PostProductions Between Mike the DetroiBorg and Jerrytherig, I love both of them
That would be a 4 seconds video
The cross effect on each of these tiles spoils them. They should be a flat/matt finish.
Agreed. But I've seen them in person and it's not so bad, still shows but they are nice. I am personally completely invested in the Aurora (27 pc in every room), so smooth looking
Great review, Mike! You mentioned that you regularly use them for lightning your videos. Have you encountered any flickering using these as your light source? I notice a few "flicker lines" (dunno what their real name is) in your footage (01:43 - 01:46) when filming directly at the tiles. I was just wondering if this would have any effect on the footage when some given object is being lit BY them. I once had IKEA's "FLOAT" LED-panels as a light source for video, but they produced horrible lines on my footage. Thanks :)
Really cool product, great review!
That looks so cool
Best tech reviewer ever
Cool product. Good vid!
Great video 👍🏽 as always
Hi, do you recommend mount the canvas on a texturized wall? Thanks and congrats
Very thin, and some interesting features. Great Review, as always!
They look awesome!
wow I would love to have that in my room. good video
Just the thing I want for my new house perfect.
You could make an updated office tour video?
I bought two kits , having issues with pairing . Am I not allowed to use both control tiles at once ? Meaning I got two 9 packs that comes with two control tiles . If I put them all together , must I omit one of the control tiles and not use it or is there anyway to Slave one of the control tiles so that one is prioritized over the other in regards to overall pairing to the app and HomeKit
What?!!!! Two vids in a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please make a studio tour for 2019
Thank you for a great review! Can these light be controled from smar life App? Or Google Home? Also will it ripe your wallpaper on taking on and off? I have a spray that will help on this but then its going to mean buying more stickers but at least I know I can but just wanting to know the chances of it doing it? Thanks!
Does it matter which slots I use to link the tiles together? If I have a center tile with each side surrounded by other tiles, does the center tile have to be connected in a certain pattern with the ones surrounding it in a 25 tile setup for example? Or can I just link the center square to say the top and/or bottom, without additional connectors on either side, assuming the “side tiles” are still connected to one-another using other available slots?
Detroit... BOOOORRRG!
I’m very interested when I have a lot of Philips hue in my Dad’s apartment. I want to put a Big Letter “K” on my wall, what is the best option to make that possible ?
When I grow up, I want my house to be colorful and high-tech as yours, Mike :D
Just ordered 2 x starter kits + 2 x expansion kits.. can't wait.
It would be super cool to do an entire wall or even the ceiling of a room.
These so cool and modern
It’d be cool if they could display text and numbers for things like clock, weather etc
Спасибо супер обзор!!
Hey Mike i have asked before, maybe you are not interested but what about a Smart Home tour?
This would make hell of a product if it has API or some other ability to connect to gaming PC and sync lights with it. I am actually planning to put some of these in my kid's room even if they cannot be linked to a computer.
they are selling a dmx bridge, too though. with dmx (the industry standard protocol for lightning control), pretty sure you would be able to build up some nice stuff for gaming - with some efford.
Why not attach the lights first to a thin backboard that can be hung on the wall. Would make for easy relocation if needed.
These are amazing
Did you tape at the wrong area?
Very cool
If you have enough of them you can make a 8bit MARIO on your wall!
Woa, these are so *cool* to just stare at
I prefer the triangular design of the Aurora panels. Looks more stylistic than the square design. Still very cool though.
Very Cool 👍👍👍👍👍
are the connecters flexable
Is there any way to convert this to DMX?
C'est très sympathique tout ça (:
Can they be used with WiFi and Bluetooth turned off?
hi could u tell me how to reset the tiles please
Where you buy it?
Mike what lights are you using under your desk to give it that glow?
That’s a HUE light strip.
DetroitBORG how did you get it to stay like that since it's so flexible?
Wait, are the triangles touchscreen?
create a note 9 full review plz
That'd be pretty neat to have an entire wall or room covered in those
cool!
Please do Pocophone F1 review!!!
Obviously they’re cool, but 249 for 9 panels?? Good lord. I count 65 panels in that one mock up next to the bed with the gradient design. You’d need 8 packs to achieve that. Enjoy paying $2,000 for 10 dollars worth of plastic, I’ll pass.
They’re very expensive, they make hue look like a bargain.
P.S: i love hue, and own many strips and bulbs, but this... this is too much money for nothing.
Evan Tedeschi I also counted 122 in the green pixelated design beside the desk, that’s almost what you said.
Lol everybody take a real good God samn look and realize and understand these panels are a 1 foot X 1 foot there is a total of 17 panels theres that would bring 1 9npack and 2 4 packs witch is a total of 6 to 700 look at the black lines people that what sepretates the panel ot the small squares
@@techforever1970 they serve different purposed in my opinion. Hue is great as a color changing light bulb, but the nanoleaf is a whole different concept, it's a color changing decoration that is also very versatile based on your style.
Yeah man, if you got me correctly you’ll understand what I mean. I meant that they’re just too expensive for what they are and what purpose they serve, and added to that they make philips hue look like a bargain (same category of smart colour changing lights) and so on...
Looking at the thumbnail I thought you reviewed post-it papers
Imagine having a wall full of those
You shop at Costco?
"The Nanoleaf patent issue highlights the complexities of navigating intellectual property in the tech world. Here's to hoping for a resolution that promotes fair competition and continued innovation in smart home technology."
Nice ri
😎👍🏻
these are cool but, its hard to justify the price for what they do. for a cool set up, you're gonna have to spend about a thousand bux on them, for that amount of money, you can get a nice 4k tv which will do most of what this does and a lot more
Noice!
Do you plug these lights into the wall?
REAL AMAZING WORLD no
imagine this at a party omg
two videos????
wow
This is good panels for decorate our home walls
Supimpa
Day 6 do gocube
0:34 Minecraft wallpaper?
They kind of look like swasticas sometimes :O
It’s how much for how many? Too expensive for me for such a frivolous item.
You could review a piece of paper and it would still be a good review.
Auburn Hills Costco for 149.00. 9 PC starter
REVIEW THE GALAXY S9 AND S9+ AND THE NOTE 9 SOME OF THE SAMSUNG FAN ARE WAITING FOR THE REVIEW SO BADLY
I'm building a creeper for it

YOOO FIRST
I don’t understand why anyone would pay this much for lighting, just like HUE it’s utterly ridiculous. It’s not innovative in any way to justify the price. Would you buy them yourself Mike if you were to pay for them and not get any return from it, honest answer please?
I bought the Aurora and would definitely buy these. I am obsessed with LED accent lighting.
Chatta290 The thing about stuff like this and especially Hue, is that LED lasts so much longer than normal bulbs, and the “smart” aspects really make them useful for when you’re out of town, or need to set consistent routines and whatnot. It’s totally worth the cost up front in the long term.
I am totally addicted to light art and neon lights! They serve a purpose: feeding my inspiration and creativity! The atmosphere I am near them :) always make me feel nice
Jason Zak unless it lasts 10 years I wouldn’t buy them, the set up cost is extremely high and I can’t get too excited when LED light strips cost £5 compared to over £100 for the HUE ones with the bridge, it might not be smart but it kind of does the same thing with a few compromises
Only people with too much money would buy this garbage. So the detroitborg is their target audience.
Swastika Lights
Time to sell my second kidney.
Someone please buy me these lights. I'm poor.
I was excited about these until I saw that each panel doesn’t light up solidly like the triangle ones. Hard pass.
nano leaf arora, is my favourite, i dont like this new canvas
You totally stuck that on incorrectly. It's supposed to be stuck on the flat part, not in the divot. See the installation video here... czcams.com/video/PveUX91ujMA/video.html
anytime I see these Panels I just see swaztikas I could never have them up lol I would be bothered lol
first!!
What a notch on your phone. Ouch
DO NOT BUY! Run away as fast as you can. I had these lights and they
stopped working after less than a year. Support is a joke; they just
keep sending you through hoops rather than actually providing support.
I think you need to come up with a better pattern on your wall. that's kind of...just meh
I paid too much for this Nanoleaf Canvas system for it to continually break down on me. Out of nowhere a couple of weeks ago, the system just stopped working for no apparent reason.
I tried everything that I could. I tried updates, uninstall and reinstall, hard resets and soft resets, I restarted my router, I've done everything I could think of but the buttons keep cycling through and the power button will blink blue 5 times then goes back to cycling through the buttons blinking. This will go on for hours and nothing will happen. Eventually, it shuts its self off.
Really disappointed in this product. It is so cool when it works, but keeping it working is the issue. Very unreliable.
Would not buy any further NanoLeaf products until they become more helpful and more reliable and can be paired with 5G networks.
